Operation Snowbreaker(10)

The Cyberdemon directs his cybernetic arm blaster towards Amelia and begins firing multiple rockets at her, which she brought her Stand in front of herself and Locked Away quickly punches all of them away.

Then the Cyberdemon activated his thrusters on his back and charged towards Amelia, but she and her Stand quickly rolled out of the charge, just in time to avoid the Cyberdemon as it immediately stomped the ground with his foot, creating a crimson hue shockwave that sent Amelia flying a few meters away, but her Stand grabbed her before she could fly any further. 

They were beginning to recover when they noticed the Cyberdemon reeling one of his fists, preparing to smash them to oblivion, but Locked Away stopped the fist before it could hit Amelia, and the force of the punch cracked the icy ground they were standing on. 

"Now!"

Upon Amelia says that, Locked Away then placed various keyholes on the Cyberdemon's body, locking his bodily parts and himself in place. 

"?!"

Amelia and Locked Away started walking away, believing that the lock effect will keep it in place. However, this will be their biggest mistake as they are still unaware of their ability's weakness and limitations. Should the Stand or the opponent move further away from each other, the keyholes will slowly disappear and they will resume their movement.

At the following moment, the Cyberdemon noticed the keyholes fading away from his body when his targets moved away from him, and for a few more seconds, the lock effect finally faded away, and he was now able to move again. 

Now that he is free, he launches scores of small but deadly missiles from his back into the air. Locked away & Amelia looked up and saw the missiles falling down towards them, they immediately moved left and right and dodged all the missiles, but this gave the cyberdemon the opportunity he needed, and he quickly charges towards Locked Away and transforms the rock spike on his forearm into an energy blade before swinging upwards with the sword, but Locked Away quickly backed away from the attack, but the tip of the energy blade was able to scratch her chin.

And that same damage came on Amelia.

'Damn, it appears like that sword is the only thing that can harm Locked Away,' Amelia thought as she winced in pain, grasping the small wound on her chin.

The Cyberdemon then proceeds to slash at Amelia multiple times, but with the help of her Stand, she manages to avoid the attack that even a normal human has a hard time to perceive. The Cyberdemon then went to stab Amelia with his energy sword, but she immediately backed away from the attack and stabbed the icy ground instead, until...

Crack!

The Cyberdemon, Locked Away, and Amelia's eyes widen as they slowly look down and notice the icy ground the Cyberdemon stabbed is beginning to crack, and before any of them could move, the icy ground breaks aparts and they fall down into an icy tunnel and started sliding down due to the ice making it slippery, with Amelia leading and the cyberdemon following closely behind.

"He really wants that argent crystal back!" 

While sliding down the tunnel, the Cyberdemon charges up a laser shot and fires it at her, but her Stand pushes her to the right and disappears, and the laser blast misses her. The Cyberdemon then fires more rockets, but Locked Away quickly punches them away, and the rockets instead hit the icy walls, but she then grabs one of the rockets and throws it back at the Cyberdemon's face.

Boom!

The rocket exploded on his face, which didn't damage him but it only made him angrier, and he let out another roar as he continued sliding down the tunnel and chasing after Amelia. 

Spotting a couple of ice stalactites in the distance, Locked Away hastily snatches five of them from the ceiling and throws them at the Cyberdemon like bullets, but the Cyberdemon quickly swats them away with his arm with ease.

Just then, the three noticed two tunnels coming up. One to the left and one to the right. Amelia and Locked Away slide down to the tunnel on the left, while the Cyberdemon, not being too quick to think, takes the other tunnel and slides down on it.

Amelia turns around and checks to see whether the Cyberdemon is still following her, only to see no sign of it, "I think we lost him." She said while continuing to slide down the icy tunnel.

Until then, the wall to her right broke apart with the Cyberdemon coming right through it. Happening in a slow motion sequence, Amelia quickly puts her head down as the cyberdemon tries to grab her head but misses completely since she well lowered her head down and crashes against the wall on her left. 

The slow motion ended, and Amelia continued sliding down the tunnel while the cyberdemon continued chasing her down, but this time the Cyberdemon decided to slide down the tunnel on his belly, which proved advantageous  as he gained more speed and was actually catching up to Amelia.

She turned around and saw how close the cyberdemon was getting to her, she immediately called Locked Away to defend, but the Cyberdemon used his energy sword and slashed horizontally on her, but Amelia backs away and dodged more swings from his energy sword until he saw an opening and immediately grabbed Amelia and brought her close to his face.

Locked Away was about to punch his face when the three saw a light at the end of the tunnel they were sliding through, and in the next second, they were flying out of the tunnel's exit, but noticed something was wrong. 

'Why do I feel as if there is no ground beneath our feet?' 

Upon looking down, they realized they were at least a hundred meters above the ground and were currently suspended in the air. Their eyes widened, and they stared at each other, then at the readers, before starting to fall to the ground. 

In the midst of their falling, Locked Away quickly punched the Cyberdemon's face, causing him to lose grip of Amelia and they both continued falling towards the ground. 

"This fight is insanity!"

The Cyberdemon then charged up more laser shots and fired them all at Amelia, but her Stand made her barrel roll to the left and right and dodged, allowing her to dodge the laser shots as they continued falling. Locked away then notices a tree and throws Amelia towards it before disappearing, and Amelia grips the tree branch preventing herself from falling any further. 

Unfortunately for the Cyberdemon, it collided with the earth face first, but luckily survived the hundred-meter fall thanks to the snow-covered ground and him being durable enough to bear severe punishments.

"Grrrrrrrr..."

As the Cyberdemon rose, he noticed Amelia standing on a tree branch with her Stand in the far distance. In mere seconds, the Cyberdemon runs towards the tree she was standing on, and once he reaches there in a split second, he slices it down with his energy sword. 

The tree was about to fall and Amelia immediately jumped from tree branch to tree branch with the support of her Stand as the Cyberdemon continued to cut down each tree she would jump on. As Amelia jumps off another tree branch and lands on the ground, she flees out of the forest and ends up in the middle of a frozen lake. Fortunately, the frozen ground covering the lake was still stable. 

Behind her, the Cyberdemon came out of the forest and stood on the frozen lake, staring at her... menacingly. 

"ゴゴゴゴゴゴ"

Breathing heavily and feeling both physically and mentally exhausted from all the chase she has been experiencing, Amelia brought out her Stand Locked Away once more.

"You know, let's end this chase right here. Just me, my Stand, and you!"

The Cyberdemon narrowed his eyes on her. Using his energy sword, the Cyberdemon sends multiple energy slashes at Amelia's direction, but both jump and evade from the energy slashes and run towards him. 

"Rawwwrrrrrr!" The Cyberdemon roared and fired more rockets from his arm blaster at her but Locked Away punched them all aside and when both of them got close enough, Locked Away quickly locked his legs in place then floated towards his face and unleashed a barrage of punches on him.

"KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK!"

"KNOCKER!"

Delivering a powerful hook to his face, the Cyberdemon growls in irritation and immediately points his blaster at Amelia, forcing Locked Away to retreat back to Amelia. As he fired a rocket and reaching to Amelia at blistering speed, Locked Away dragged her out of the range of the rocket, allowing her to avoid it.

Then he launched another volley of rockets at them, forcing them to move left and right and staying far and keeping their distance from the Cyberdemon. Unbeknownst to the two, the Cyberdemon was actually trying to force them to stay faraway so that the lock effect on his leg fades away, and finally the lock effect disappears and he was able to move his legs again.

Activating his thrusters on his back, the Cyberdemon charges towards Amelia again, and when he gets close enough, he rapidly goes for an uppercut, but Amelia and Locked away quickly dash towards him, sliding between his legs and escaping the strike. The cyberdemon whirled around only to be met with a stronger punch to the lower jaw by Locked Away, he took a few steps back and realigned his jaw. 

In rage, the Cyberdemon fired more rockets, numbering over a thirty at them, but Locked Away kicked all of them back at him, exploding on his body upon impact, but due to his durability and being more tougher than a Tyrant, he just walked it off unharm before charging towards the two again, but both moved out of the way of his charge and dodging it.

Locked away then punched the frozen ground beneath his feet, causing it to fracture, and as the Cyberdemon made one step forward to approach them, his foot cracked the ice even more. 

Feeling something wrong, he looks down to see the ice cracked even more. Looking back at Amelia, he sees her giving him a two-finger salute before the ice beneath his feet fractures and he falls into the ice cold lake. Due to the weight of his body and the heavy cybernetic implants on him, he descends into its murky depths.

*Music Stops*

With the Cyberdemon gone, Amelia and Locked Away sit on the icy ground, trying to catch their breaths, well, at least Amelia was after the fight they just had with the cybernized monstrosity and pulling off that smart stunt of sinking him into the bottom of the lake. 

"I'm not sure whether that was crazy... or just scary." She said.

"Knock." Her Stand responds.

"Yeah, I think it was a little bit of both."

As they stood up, Amelia checked her sweaters pocket to check if whether the crystal was there, but to her horror, it wasn't.

"What the?! Please don't tell me I dropped it during the fight?"

"Looking for this?" 

Startled, Amelia and Locked Away immediately turned around, only to see a robotic humanoid, wearing a dark-colored bowler hat and a black suit, along with a lightly-colored scarf with a pattern of irregular dash-shaped slits cut into it. It also wears formal shoes and walks with a cane, while holding the argent crystal on his other hand.

This is the Wonder of U. 

"Are you a Stand or someone who has become one?" Amelia inquired with an apprehensive look.

"Depends on how you see it," Wonder of U replied to Amelia, raising the Argent Crystal and adding, "I found this lying on the forest floor as you three were literally falling from the sky, while I was taking a... very enthusiastic walk along the forest to head to the Chaos Insurgency base, because teleportation can get quite... boring. So how's it going?" 

"Give the crystal back," Amelia murmured, her voice more solemnly

"Knock!"

"Then allow me to ask you a question, a very important one... Do you wish to pursue me?" He questioned menacingly.

"...Well, I can't take the crystal off your hands without pursuing you, so yes, I'm going to pursue you, by approaching you." Amelia replied as she and her Stand started approached him. 

"And like that... you are now a victim to the calamity."

"What?"

"I won't say my real name, but I will say this: I am the Wonder of U, and the flow is always a... calamity."

After stating that, the Cyberdemon suddenly leaps out of the water with rage in his eyes, and stabs Locked Away through the chest with his energy sword, the damage that Amelia's Stand received also appearing on her chest.

"Cough!"

Coughing out a mouthful of blood, Amelia couldn't react in time as the Cyberdemon backhands her with his arm, sending her flying and smashing into a tree before fainting on the snowy ground seriously injured. Fortunately, her damaged Stand saved her from taking the full impact of crashing into the tree, but she couldn't avoid the Cyberdemon's backhand, and she suffered considerable damage as a result. 

This occurred as a result to the power of the calamity of the Wonder of U, affecting the cyberdemon to go in absolute rage, and that calamity attacked Amelia due to the intent of pursuing him. 

The Cyberdemon then turns to face the Wonder of U, who is holding the argent crystal. Looking at the cyberdemon that was about to attack, he simply waved his hand at the impending cyberdemon.

"Hi... and bye."

Waving him goodbye, the Wonder of U teleports away with the argent crystal. The Cyberdemon looked at where Amelia was, but she was no longer there with only a trail of blood leading into the snowy forest. These two failures caused two of the Cyberdemon's eyes from the right twitched angrily and roared at the top of his lungs.

"RRRRAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!"
