She looked up at the sky outside the window, it was a bright sunny day, must be approaching noon.
Tara Summer got off the bed, casually draped a light jacket over herself, and slowly walked to the French window.
She was staying on the second floor of the Reed family's Villa House, facing south, overlooking the garden. The myriad of vibrant plants filled her view, making her feel somewhat vital and vigorous.
As she opened the window, a breeze blew in, tousling her hair.
Tara Summer stood by the window, gazing dreamily at the garden, until a knock on the bedroom door interrupted her—
"Tara?" After knocking twice, Josie Reed opened the door and peeked in. "Tara, you are awake!"
Tara Summer turned towards the door, a gentle smile appeared on her lips. "Mom."
"Are you hungry?" Josie Reed walked in and closed the door behind her. "How long have you been awake? I thought you were still asleep and didn't dare to come up, fearing I would wake you up."
