Risky Plan
Lu Wan's face turned sour when he heard what Ye Jiao said. He was trying not to think too much about it, but she just had to remind him about it again and again.
"I know."
The next examination would be next year. It might not be too long, but anything could happen in the span of a year. It wouldn't be good for Lu Wan to stay here for the entire year because no one could guarantee his safety. The two of them were not totally sure that Lu Wan would be able to keep himself safe in Four Kingdom considering how the Imperial Family was adamant to kill him.
"Do you have any plans to make a breakthrough soon?" Ye Jiao asked.
"No…"
Qi Huan arched his eyebrows. "How much time do you think you need to make a breakthrough?"
"Probably a few more months." Lu Wan's face was sour. He hadn't made much progress in terms of his rank so far. It would still take him a lot of time.
"That won't do."
"You need to make a breakthrough faster."
