Friend or Enemy?
"Yeah, long time no see."
The way the two of them talked made Ye Jiao sure that they had known one another. However, there was this faint stifling atmosphere near them. It was as if they were already impatient to have a bout with one another and couldn't stand the sight of the other person before them.
It was weird.
"Master, do you know him?" Qi Huan asked.
Zhan Jing nodded his head. "You can say that we're acquaintances. I can't say that I know him well, though."
"I see."
Ye Jiao looked at her master. "Master, are you going to the Spring Island too?"
"Yes. Why do you think I came here today?"
"Then, can I go with you?"
"Sure," Zhan Jing readily agreed. He was only planning on tailing after Qi Huan, so he didn't really expect to see Ye Jiao in this place too. There was no doubt that he would have to work harder to protect them.
