Raven: We are going to infiltrate North Rhineland!
Both: What?!
Gavin and Xander stare at me in utter surprise.
Tony: That's suicide!
Gavin: Yes! The security is so tough there, we can never go inside without being found out!
Raven: That's not true.
Gavin: What?
Raven: One of our informants brought to my attention that there is going to an noble gathering in North Rhineland from about 10 days from today. We are going to disguise ourselves and infiltrate the kingdom and then rescue the missing guards and soldiers.
Tony: That's too dangerous! Prince Jayden would never allow it!
That's right, he definitely won't let ME do something like that.
Raven: Prince Jayden, he... doesn't have to know.
Gavin: Even if he doesn't have to be informed, the gathering would have to attended by a male with a female companion. Your unusually coloured hair and eyes will give you away.
Tony: And we can't ignore the fact that they won't let any of Ozara's citizens in, we'll need a soldier who can speak in a foreign language. But, all of our guards and soldiers are indigenous to Ozara.
Gavin: In short, the female cannot be a civilian who can't protect herself and the male has to be somebody who's strong and can speak at least one foreign language.
Tony: That's why this mission isn't one that can be put into action.
They've got a point but, I wasn't chosen as the kingdom's Security Chief for nothing, I've got strategic brains. And would you look at that, I already have a solution.
Raven: Don't worry about that. Xander, take some men with you and examine the guards and officials there and check if anyone is acting suspicious or sending our guards to the blind spot.
Tony:... Understood.
Xander bows and reluctantly leaves the room. I turn to Gavin.
Raven: Gavin, I need you to get me some supplies.
Gavin: What supplies?
Raven: Well...
A Few Minutes Later...
Raven: Artistic Boy!
Adam:...? Me?
Raven: Uh huh.
Clay walks over to me from the training grounds with dirt on his face and clothes. He really needs to be taught to be suave before the mission. I sigh to myself in disappointment.
Adam: Did I do something wrong?
Raven: Not yet. Tell me, can you speak the Kasana dialect fluently?
Adam: I grew up there so, yes.
That's good, I've my male companion now.
Raven: I see.
Adam:...? Am I in any kind of trouble?
Raven: Do you want to be?
Adam: No!
Heh, the look on his face, he's afraid of me.
Raven: Then return to your training and meet me in my office at sundown.
I turn around to leave.
Adam: I don't know where your office is!
Raven: Ask of the maids, they'll be more than happy to help you.
He's eye candy for them anyway. I walk away confidently, ready to put my plan into action.
