"What do you need me for?" Patrick asked as soon as the three got out of the lounge.
"Wait here, I'll go get something," I say. But he refused and even offered to come with me. "Rei is being watched by someone we don't know, they might need something in this place so I need you to keep watch," I say, being clear so that he won't be persistent and tag along. He seems like the guy to get serious when it's about protecting those two. He only nodded and found a way to keep himself distracted while I went out.
Luckily, no one seemed to force their way inside our room and I found the files on the same spot I hid them. After I returned to the lounge, I explained everything about what the Supreme Commander told us. And I think Rei is right, they do seem to know something about this matter when I saw him not surprised even a little bit. Like he was already expecting this kind of thing.
"Isn't it kind of too late for this?" he asked. I gave him a confused look and waited for him to share something. "Back on the island, we call these 'buffed unOrdinary'. They have a specific skill that separates their capabilities and dangerousness from the weak ones. I've already encountered three of these and they are not easily eliminated," he became tenser as he reads through the file more carefully. "My experiences are with a speaking type, speed type and the one's whose smelling senses are spots on," then it looks like something caught his attention. "And it seems like one has followed us or have a similar skill," he scratched his head as if he was getting irritated.
"Have you ever killed one?" I asked out of curiosity. He looked me straight in the eyes and shakes his head.
"I've never heard nor seen anyone took care of it," that sounds seriously dangerous. "I say, it's impossible," he paused. "At least not until we have Rei or Noel," he admits.
Is it that hard to kill? If so, it'll be a huge problem for us. Since it's been personally tasked to us, we can't surely refuse this. But this much information is quite enough for today. Although, I wonder if Rei wants to ask anything else from them.

"You're not going to get away with this easily and unscathed," says Uncle Leon who is with me, outside the conference room of all the higher-ups that knows about me.
"You can come in now," says the second Lieutenant General's Assistant: Xiqi. He held the door open for me and my Uncle to enter. I can feel their gazes that are full of disappointment and rage while I walk down the path that they readied for me. And at the end of it, there was a wooden stool where they ordered me to sit.
I was in the middle of the room, being watched by everyone that is sitting in front of me with their majestic tables and chairs.
"If I may recall, I think we've come to the agreement that you will not use your gift to us, mere humans," Akashi says, straight to the point which I'm not used to. It's my first time seeing him like this. Maybe it's because of all the people here that he can't tease me anymore. That's good because that means he can also get serious at his work.
"I apologize. I didn't know I would unconsciously use it," I say as an excuse.
"You went out of control and almost killed someone because of some silly argument," First Lieutenant General: Pyonge said out loud. It is true, the man didn't even lay a hand on me, and yet I did.
"An apology won't cut it," Third Lieutenant General: Guzman explained.
"I'm sorry, it won't happen again, " I say, lowering myself and feeling guilty.
"We have to discipline you for it not to happen again," the Second Lieutenant General: Tieffle said. He sounds serious with his comment.
They all looked at Akashi and waited for the punishment that they want me to have. He chuckles and calms everyone down.
"I have the perfect solution for her punishment," Akashi said flicking his fingers as his favorite messenger comes in. Walking the path I took and stopped beside me, passing a box and walked out the door he went in. I looked at the Supreme Leader to await a command. "Open it," he said. I did what he told me, opened the box, and held the thing that's inside it in the air for everyone to see. "Wear it," he grins.
"Supreme Leader! , Akashi!" some shouted as a sign that they oppose this idea. But he ignored it like the decision has been made with no one's consent but his.
"We're short on manpower at the moment. So you will only have to wear that until your twenty-four hours confinement finishes," he said with a wide grin displayed on his demonic face.
This old man, I take back every nice thing I have said about him!
"This is a bit...shocking," I blurted with an irritated face that they can see. "No pun intended" I follow, trying to calm the opposition that everyone gives at my bad joke. I obeyed what he charged as my punishment and put the black shock collar around my neck. When I look back at them, the Supreme Leader was holding the remote.
"There are only two buttons, a yellow one which I guess is a normal shock," he says pushing the button to test it. I have five audiences, some look terrified and some worried. Because the second he triggered it, I knew it'll not end well.
I can feel every inch of my body being electrified. In the first ten seconds, it was still bearable but the longer it took, the painful it gets. Until I fell down the chair and crumpled like a piece of paper, desperately trying to remove the collar with the hopeless strength I have. I gritted my teeth to at least lessen the pain, but I got more frustrated when I saw them just looking and enjoying my suffering. Nobody even stopped him, not even my Uncle. I can see him just turning a blind eye. I can't shut my mouth anymore and shout every misery away. Why do they think I'll betray them? They're even marking me to be a loyal hound who'll follow every order they assign me.
"Kinky," I snickered after the overwhelming experience stopped.
"A normal human being would've lost consciousness at that rate. But seeing how you're still able to talk back proves that you're beyond normal," Akashi says which made everyone alarmed. He's getting on my nerves, I swear, I'll get my revenge someday.
"I'd like to try the next button and see what'll happen but I'm afraid I have some other business that I need attending. I'll give this controller to one of your fellows, you are not allowed to take that off, " he says. "Dismissed," and just like that, I walked to the door and bowed before I exited.
[Noel]
"You need to be more fierce and strong. Even if you're skilled, without a body like thisー" Shawn demonstrates his body, muscles eager to be acknowledged.
"No thank you," I said taking a sip of water. We decided to take a break after we finished sparring and knife training. I didn't even win any match, I guess that's to be expected of the top soldiers that we're hired to guard me with their life. And I just realized how useless I am on a battlefield.
"But you had a great aim and knowledge about some guns," Vincent points out the things that happened on the day we escaped. "Did you ever held a gun before that?" he asked.
"No, that was my first time," I denied.
"Could it be instinct?" trying to make an excuse on their own.
Even I don't exactly know why I manage to shoot like that. I don't think I've ever wielded a gun neither been taught before. Or am I forgetting some of my memories again? No, that mustn't be it. They don't even know anything about that either.
The door flings open, revealing several people of high status. Third Lieutenant General: Guzman is with his assistant Ali and a few familiar faces I've recognized at the island.
"Good afternoon," the two greeted and I followed. Guzman lifts his hands signaling us to stop the greeting pose.
"I've got a few things that I need to take care of so I'll say it just once," he says as Ali walked to up me, holding a little elegant black box, and opened it.
"Take it," she whispered as I did what she ordered me to.
"You've been entrusted to use this. But I'll warn you to not take this lightly. Because in one push of a button, you can end someone's life or save some people knocking at death's door," after he said that, I looked at the little remote that has two buttons. One was yellow and another was red.
"Also, look forward to seeing their faces, they're the newly formed squadrons inside the same Division as you three, " he said, already walking back to the door.
There were five of them, four of them are male and the other one was female. They don't look enthusiastic nor satisfied with being introduced by one of the higher-ups. All of them gave us weird looks, judging us from head to toe, and followed behind Guzman out of the room.
"What was that?" asks Shawn, looking intrigued at what I'm holding.
"A remote?" with their advice in mind, I don't want to push and try anything with it.
"Save? Death? Could it be an atomic bomb or something explosive?" imagines Vincent while holding his chin.
It was still early to get lunch so we decided to practice more and go to the lounge and invite the others to eat with us.

I was at Rei's table, doing revising some files and so is Patrick who sits on the sofa typing everything we talked about earlier. Our focus was disturbed by the creaking door that slowly opens. Rei appeared with a pool of blood on her lips like a vampire who just finished sucking up blood from a random person.
[Rei]
"What happened?" asks Cedrick, walking up to me and wipes my lips with a handkerchief. There, I noticed my lips were dripping blood.
"I must've bitten it. No worries," I said pushing him and licking it instead. It must've been from earlier.
[Cedrick]
"Can you bring me some pillow and a blanket?" she asked while she drinks some water and sat looking so exhausted.
"You can just take a rest in our room," I said which probably made her furious from the frown she gave.
"Someone wants to rob this place," she wasn't finished yet but I stood up from where I sit. "And you want me to be somewhere while they might outnumber us and take what they came for?" I hurriedly walked towards the door when she slowly raised her voice. She looks sensitive. Who wouldn't be when problems pop up after another? Even Patrick was taken aback.
After I returned, I handed it to her, she took both and slept on the floor after she took a glance at Patrick who's using the sofa.
"If you want the sofa, just ask," he sighs, going to another chair. She gladly moved and took his offer.
We continued our work. Then a few hours passed when the door flew open like someone was trying to wake a demon while three of them were exchanging conversations with big voices.
"Shut up" Patrick hisses after he got their attention by throwing a crumpled paper at them. They glanced at the sofa where they found her sound asleep while I and Patrick naturally close our laptop and went to greet the others and ask what they came here for.
