[???]
In the dawn of night, the crickets choose to be silent and creatures howl, yet silently. As winds blow relentlessly shaking trees.
Over and over again, little feet running from danger, the poor timid girl tripped upon a small rock. Her face eating dirt and mud, and her white gowns that were once tainted by the crimson red of her friends began to wash away and it was replaced by brown watery junk.
Refusing to stay down, the girl grasped and crawled around the dirt. Pulling herself forward solely by the strength of both arms, managing to force her body to stand upright again, taking off running once more.
"WHERE IS SHE?!" the forest was wide but the echoes suggested otherwise as she knew they were getting irrefutably close.
She tried to muffle her huffs as she fell and rolled down the little mountain, bumping over tree trunks, scratched by sharp rocks and branches.
"Find her!" their voices were beginning to be washed away by distance.
The fall had broken not just her bones but her spirit as well. But not her desire to escape when she saw a fence.
Her broken hands and fingers turned to inhumane claws as she bit her lips from the pain she had to endure just to dig down the electric fence that was towering high as a building.
Her tears were shed as her blood dripped from her lips and hands.
"JUST A LITTLE MORE" I cheered for this young girl to keep going when I saw her take a breather as her grip on my claws retracted.
"I can't" she whispered sobbing.
"MAKE ALL THEIR EFFORTS WORTH IT!" I didn't mean for my fangs to show but her will was starting to fade. "A LITTLE MORE PUSH!" I forced my claws to hold her hands this time and forcefully controlled her body to dig. Dig until we ran out of breath, dig until my claws are one with the ground, dig for hope...
Until I no longer realized what I was doing, until the moon shone brighter in the night sky.
I can sympathize with her pain as we both saw the betrayal that no one saw when HE dared to point a gun at her. TO ME.
She kept messing with my work so I made her lose every sense of her own body. That way, I could possess and help her more freely.
I temporarily repaired her broken bones back with my ability. It was painful, for both of US.
Here, inside the 'closet', she's crying in silence and peace. She didn't need to worry if I judged her because of what she felt at that moment, thus it connected to me also.
After a few more running, or more like limping away from that fence, I entered another forest engulfed by huge and endless lines of trees of different kinds.
With the help of nature as my guidance to walk, I held onto one tree at a time and sometimes the ground just to keep walking.
"Let's just stop," I hear her suggestion from our 'closet' in her frail and shivering voice.
"Please, end this already," she seemed comforted by hugging her legs as she laid her face on her knees.
Until her body finally collapsed. My ability could no longer aid her. We both spent everything we had just in an attempt to escape.
I crawled, looking like a worm squiggling for a safe place to rest.
With breathless movements, scarred and injured bodies, hopes and wills crumbling to the ground, we managed to touch an asphalt.
Finally, a road.
We relaxed our body and took our time to process everything that was done. And that's when it registered, remembering every single detail with no mercy.
Bullets flying everywhere...
Blood and deaths of many...
Shouts of agony and despair...
Destruction of the 'empire'...
Betrayal of someone...
Just for one single person to live and tell the tale.
Over time, feelings were toyed with, foolish choices were made, and people changed. That also applies to me, even a monster can choose his path to avoid torturing oneself.
Although it's a shock that she proved myself wrong. It never occurred to me that she was also the type to change this much.
I've been locked inside for so long that I could almost not recognize my master, my own guide,.. my friend.
When I finally had a chance to come out after a decade, all the anguish I'd felt, betrayal from her, such selfish acts could not be forgotten.
"A foolish and selfish master, for a disloyal pet" Our reunion was ecstatic, seeing her eyes diluted from the sight of me was exciting and unexpectedly saddening.
"Oh, and how have I longed to bear witness of your demise... by your own hands" I greeted with my true form that she'd witness for the first time after the incident.
Hello, dear master.
Season 2 will begin, I hope you'll like it and stick around for more.
(I'll also renew a lot of things so look out for that)
