Chapter 3 - The Golden Trio Reunited, How Did They Witness History?

As I reflected on the past five years, the compartment door swung open.

A freckled little kid pushed it aside, followed closely by a boy with a lightning-shaped scar on his forehead. It was none other than the famous Harry Potter, accompanied by his friend Ron Weasley!

"Excuse me, can I sit here?" Ron asked.

"Help yourself!" Kael replied casually, feeling neither particularly positive nor negative about the boy. After all, he was just a bystander, not a babysitter.

"Oh, thank you so much! I'm Ron Weasley, and this is Harry Potter!" Ron introduced himself with a hint of pride.

"You must have heard of his name, right?" Ron continued, eager to make an impression.

"By the way, I don't know your name yet."

"Kael!"

"Hi, Kael. Are these two cats yours?" Ron asked, noticing the Pokémon creatures perched on Kael's shoulders.

"They look— I mean, they look really noble!"

Ron's eyes were drawn to the Sun Elf and Moon Elf, the two diamond treasure chest items Kael had so far. They were not only stunning but also formidable in strength. Unfortunately, the elves gave Ron a disdainful glance before turning away, as if to say, Not worthy of our friendship!

Ron: "..."

[ Ding! Detecting gloomy emotions! ]

Just then, the system's notification chimed in.

"Open it!" Kael thought to himself.

Spells are divided into ten levels!

Above Level 3, they can be cast proficiently.

At Level 5, they can be cast silently.

At Level 7, they can be cast without a wand.

Level 10 represents complete mastery of the spell, allowing the development of various spell variants.

Worthy of being one of the protagonist group members, even a simple emotion could trigger a silver treasure chest!

There were many black wizards in Knockdown Alley, but a white treasure chest did not appear until they died.

"Kael, are you from a wizarding family too?" Harry asked, hoping to ease the awkwardness.

"No, I don't know who my parents are," Kael shrugged.

"You're an orphan too?" Harry's eyes lit up with curiosity. "Really, me too. Hagrid brought me to Diagon Alley, and I found out that everyone knew me."

"They also seemed to respect me."

"But I don't know why, maybe because of my parents?"

"Do you know about my parents?"

"Since no one has told you, I think someone wants you to find out for yourself."

"Maybe once you get to Hogwarts and meet someone who cares a lot about you, you'll slowly learn everything!" Kael shrugged. He knew more but had no intention of revealing anything.

"Oh, right. Can you do magic?" Harry asked, changing the subject.

"This…" Kael didn't expect Harry to be so chatty.

"I can!" Ron jumped in, eager to show off. "George once taught me a spell, but I could never get it to work. Maybe I can now. Do you want to see?"

He pulled out his wand—a second-hand one, worn and showing signs of use.

Ron waved his wand, preparing to cast the spell when the compartment door suddenly opened.

"Has anyone seen a toad? Neville lost a toad…" A little girl with messy hair but delicate features stepped in.

The last member of the trio.

Hermione Granger.

"Are you casting a spell? Mind if I watch too?" Hermione asked, her curiosity piqued.

"Alright!" Ron cleared his throat and began reciting the spell.

"Daisies, sweet cream, and sunshine, turn this silly fat mouse yellow!"

After a moment...

Nothing happened.

The mouse, originally asleep, merely lifted its head to look at Ron as if he were an idiot.

Hermione, observing with a skeptical expression, said, "Are you sure this is a real spell? It doesn't seem to be working."

She smirked slightly and continued, "I've tried several simple spells at home, and they all worked."

"For example, Reparo!"

In an instant, Harry Potter's broken glasses were miraculously repaired.

"How about that? Pretty good, right?" Hermione said with a hint of pride. "I've used this spell to help my parents fix many things at home."
