"What!" Marissa was on her feet to hug her friend. Sophie nearly bounced on her toes.

"Yeah. Look at this Diamond ring. Isn't it gorgeous?" She rushed over, meeting Marissa halfway, and hugged her tightly.

"Oh, Soph. I'm so happy for you."

Looking at these two, Dean had also gotten up, "Congratulations, Sophia."

Sophia accepted the greeting with a nod, "I want to steal your president for an hour," she grabbed Marissa's hand and started pulling her outside, "Come on. Joseph is supposed to attend a meeting, so we have enough time to celebrate. Come on, girl."

Marissa wanted to feel happiness wholeheartedly. The irony was, that when she had Rafael, Sophie was single. And today when she got engaged, Marissa was single.

Cruel fate!

Sophie tugged her towards the door, "Come on. And spare your poor assistant. He needs to be with Akari!"

Marissa giggled, listening to that, "They look cute together."
