Alex and Ariel were again arguing about something while Abi was busy telling Georgie about her class fellows.
"Some of the girls in my class are so rude," she told the boy who Marissa realized was an excellent listener. Nina was just enjoying the noise around her.
The smile on her face told it all.
"Someone his age rarely shows so much maturity," Marissa said, her eyes lingering on the boy for a few moments. He might be Delinda's son but was way ahead of his age.
"Staying quiet doesn't mean he has gotten mature," Nina picked up a cucumber stick and started nibbling on it, "He is just like the other kids of his age," Marissa didn't know how to bring up the subject with Nina.
Was it even worth it?
"He only listens to Abigail," Nina remarked taking a spoonful of yogurt, "He keeps her safe from bullying. Helps her with her homework. And for some odd reason, he and Alex don't see eye to eye."
