"Th-This... is your house...?!" You gulped, staring at the mansion. It was huge! It was similar to Adrien's house in size, but much more modern.
"Like it?" Jake smiled with a laugh.
"I-I mean, it looks amazing..." You gulped. Jake laughed.
"My mom's a famous model. She moves around the world a lot. I stayed with her for the majority life, but I finally moved here after she couldn't handle me coming around with her anymore. My dad got a place here for me. He's home more often than my mom, but still is out a lot. You know, I actually got akumatized the first time I got here!" He laughed. Ah; you already knew that. You faked your surprise, making your eyes widened.
"W-Wait, seriously?! You did??" You gasped. He smirked.
"That's right~ I'm Fader! The villain that can take things away from you and make them reappear at my will." He laughed. You did the same. You both walked into the house as you talked. You glanced around, in awe of the neat, pristine house.
"How about you? Have you ever been akumatized?" He asked. You nodded.
"Yeah; I was the person who made the whisp incident. I never gave a name, so they don't know what to call me..." You laughed. His eyes widened. "Well, it's old news by now, so I don't need a name..."
"Woah, I've heard of that! You stole happiness, right? And hid too? Why? What happened to get you akumatized?" He asked. You shrugged.
"I was bored."
"...What?"
"Yeah, I was bored." You laughed. You just realized how weird that made you sound. Akumatized because of boredom, then making everyone miserable? You almost sounded like a lunatic... "Because my motivation was so rubbish, I had rubbish powers, so I had to hide around until I got more powers. That's what I assume, at least."
"Ahh, so it's like a video game ability! You had to train to get more skills before fighting Ladybug and Chat Noir! By the way, you should really get [Game]. It's a cool multiplayer game. Maybe you can add me."
"Ah, okay!" You smiled, "I'll get it as soon as I get home!"
"Heh, okay. Anyway, you hungry? I'll tell the cook to make some food." He said, walking into the living room, which looked amazing. It was so fancy...! You almost felt uncomfortable.
It had large windows that took up a full wall, a nice rug, a giant curved TV that was mounted on the wall, a nice modern fireplace and beautiful light with seemingly luminescent squares hanging down. You stared in awe as Jake walked over to the couch nonchalantly. He texted someone, who you presumed was the cook.
You continued to talk for a while, you being uncomfortable for a while. Jake started to talk about Adrien, completely ignoring your uncomfort. You conversed about various topics before the doorbell rang.
"Ah, I'll get it! Wait here, okay?" Jake smiled. You smiled back with a nod. Jake took long strides toward the front door.
"Hey, Adrien!" You could hear from down the hall.
"Hey, Jake. Your house looks amazing."
"Yeah, it does, huh? I'm really grateful to be here."
"Oh, that's nice..." Adrien continued. They continued to converse, their voices getting clearer as they came closer.
"Oh, Y/N's over there on the couch." Jake said, motioning toward you. You waved at the two of them. They did the same. "How about we go on a house tour? Then we can laze around.
"Okay!" You and Adrien agreed. You looked around, searching each room. Adrien and Jake were sure hitting it off... You listened happily to their conversation as you went around the house. Though, at some point, where you were admiring the decoration of the house, you'd been left behind.
"J-Jake? Adrien?" You called out once going into the hallway. They were nowhere to be seen. Ah; you were lost... The house wasn't absurdly big, so you'd find them once you wandered around enough. You walked down the stairs, finding the living room once again. Maybe you could wait...
You waited for a while, but neither Jake or Adrien returned to the room. Had they gone out? Without you? ...Really?? No, no. You shouldn't suspect your best friend like that; he was a nice guy, he was just an Adrien fan... Anyway, if you thought like that, you'd be a bad friend.
You still had a bad feeling in your gut, and decided you felt sick. You texted Jake you were going home and left with the help of a random cleaner who was walking around. She was nice; she unlocked the door for you.
You went home and crashed down into your bed with a sigh. Jake texted you about the game and a few other things. He made you laugh a lot, which was nice, even if you had a problem getting to bed afterward. He also explained that Adrien and Jake had ended up looking for you upstairs and in the back yard, but you weren't there so they suspected you went home. Honestly; you going home without saying a word did sound like you...
Eventually, you fell asleep.
