Michel de Nostredame, or Nostradamus as he is better known, lived from 14 or 21 December 1503 to 2 July 1566. Born in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, France, he entered the University of Avignon at the age of 15, but was forced to leave in less than a year when it was forced to close due to an outbreak of the plague. While mundane history records that he spent the next 8 years traveling alone researching herbal remedies, in actuality he attended the prestigious L'Ecole de Paris de la Magie, where he mastered in Potions and Divination.

While Nostradamus used numerous types of divination, he primarily relied on pyromancy or divination via fire. Specifically, he was a pyromancer who had mastered alomancy, botanomancy, capnomancy, and sideromancy.
