Blue/Ava's POV

I cupped my head after my heart hurt. A swift glimpse of a memory crossed my mind. It was me and another person. He's old. He's in a suit and he's holding a gun. I swallowed hard. I didn't see his face properly but I felt fear consumed my whole system upon remembering that man. Who is he?

"Are you okay?"

I flinched and looked at Nicholas. He just came back. He went to buy something before we went home.

I shook my head. "It's nothing. I'm fine."

He nodded and leaned towards me. Due to my reflexes, I pushed him back. My eyes widened. "W-What are you gonna do?"

He heaved a sigh and lifted something. "I'm gonna put a concealer on your neck. Unless, you want your so-called love to see your hickeys."
