"Breakfast in bed."

I looked at Nicholas who entered the room carrying a tray of food. My eyes squinted as I saw happiness in his eyes. Smile wasn't leaving his lips as he went to me full of energy.

He sat on the bed. "I'm gonna feed you."

"I'm not crippled, Nicholas."

His smile didn't fade. "Just let me pamper you, please!"

"DADDY! MOMMY!" Nicholai suddenly entered the room. I covered my body with a blanket. I'm wearing Nicholas' t-shirt but nothing underneath.

Nicholas faces his daughter with a sweet smile. He kissed Nicholai's cheeks. "Yes, sweetheart? Good morning."

Nicholai kissed his cheek and mine. "Good morning, mommy. Good morning, daddy. Can I go to the mall with my pretty aunt?"

I looked at Nicholas. The aunt pretty she’s calling is Sunny. She's already so fond of her aunt after just a few days of living here in Nick Sanford's mansion.
