Combination Jutsu

"Here I go" Tom shouted like a madman and jumped down from the tree , Arthur vanished from his place too.

Hearing the shout, All the 5 wolves immediately looked up towards the sky and saw a human falling down at a rapid pace

"Water manipulation: severing waves! " Tom shouted and unsheathed his sword,

a brilliant blue light covered the sword, the light transformed into a high pressured water jet that was constantly rotating around the blade like a chain saw.

"First form: Tidal slash! " Tom shouted and released a sword slah towards the wolves, the high pressure water wave compressed into a thin line and travelled towards the wolves at an unbelievable speed, it was so fast that it reached the wolves that were 10 meters away in a second !

The 2 grey wolves being alerted , jumped up from their places, avoiding the attack while the remaining one was sliced in half due to Tom's attack, the tidal slash leaved a 1 meter deep cut inside the ground.

Seeing their companion fall, the 2 grey wolves lunged towards Tom while brandishing their sharp teeths. Tom wasted no time and immediately jumped up to avoid their attacks.

Seeing Tom in the air, one wolve immediately opened its mouth and a large amount of air qi started gathering inside.

"An air canon! Not good !!! " Tom immediately used his water arts to shoot out a water jet from his feet and push himself upward like a rocket to barely avoid the attack.

*BANG! * a hole was blown through a tree trunk immediately

Seeing the damage and the speed, Tom cursed "Shit ! "

Tom was still falling down from the sky but he felt the wind current suddenly increasing, this time, both of the wolves were charging up their wind cannons

"Not Good!! " Tom quickly used his cultivation arts to create a water barrier " Third form: Ocean barrier! "

*BOOM!! * the wolves released their air cannons and it collided with Tom's water barrier.

An explosion erupted inside the forest.

The surrounding trees got uprooted and the ground below got destroyed , while blasting up a huge amount of dust and debris towards the sky, the area was now covered in dust clouds and nothing was visible.

The 2 wolves got hit by the shockwaves and were flung back a few meters although they did not suffer any serious injuries but the same couldn't be said for Tom, his hands were bleeding from maintaining his water barrier, his breathing was a bit uneven

'Why hasn't Arthur returned yet? has he abandoned me...? well since you saved my life, I will also do the same by holding these monsters back!!! ' Tom steeled his mind

"Is this all you got!? " he taunted

The 2 wolves released an ear piercing howled while charging up a humongous air cannon,

Tom slowly got up while holding his sword with both hands, Tidal waves started surging near his feets "Fourth form: Ocean spli-" just as both the parties were about to release their final attacks, a huge heatwave swept the forest grounds.

They turn their heads towards the direction of the heat wave and a HUGE FIREBALL came parting through the dust clouds, the ground was burning and the surrounding air was heated up to a 100 degrees.

*Whimper* the wolves whimpered before the 3 meter tall fireball engulfed them and instantly turned them into ashes, the fire was rapidly expanding towards Tom and feeling his end coming closer, he closed his eyes accepting his fate but at the last moment, he heard a low shout "Substitution jutsu" *Poof*

a wooden log appeared at the place of Tom which was quickly engulfed by the fire.

*Whoooosh*

Tom could hear the sound of wind tearing past his ear and slowly opened his eyes, in the distance he could see the trees being caught up in a forest fire, releasing intense amount of heat. He looked down and saw Arthur carrying him on his shoulder, Jumping from tree to tree.

"You saved me again friend! " Tom grinned

"Just stay still will ya" Arthur replied in an annoyed tone

"Sure ~Sure , but you know none of this might have happened if you had found the map a bit sooner ! " Tom jokingly lectured

Arthur shouted back "You dare lecture me! I told you to attract their attention towards the 2 wolves hiding inside the bushes but your dumbass straight jumped at them! "

"Ok chill~chill~ I am sorry alright, but btw what happened to the 2 wolves who were hiding? " Tom asked in confusion

"What do you think happened genius? I killed them! " Arthur barked back

"Damn! you are really strong! " Tom complimented

"You think so!? " Arthur replied in satire

"And I thought you abandoned me.. " Tom replied in a low voice

Hearing that Arthur got more pissed, "That could be a very good idea! but if you have the strength to keep on jabbering then it may also be a very good idea to get off from my shoulder and run by yourself cause it may not look like it but we are being chaaaased!!! " Arthur yelled the last sentence.

"Oh crap!!! " Tom just relised that a pack of grey wolf might be chasing after them 'Did the final howls of the 2 grey wolves alerted them!? '

Arthur looked behind with his sharingan and he could see about 10 grey wolves chasing after them with air wrapped around their body,

"Is that a speed skill? at this rate they will catch up to us..." Arthur solemnly looked behind

"Listen Tom, I will use all of my remaining qi to cast a huge fire spell towards the oncoming grey wolves , it would at least slow them down a little. " Arthur solemnly said

"But if you do that then you will be out cold!!! " Tom stated his concerns

"That's why I need you to carry me back to a safe spot. " Arthur looked straight in the eyes of Tom and spoke solemnly "I am trusting in you Tom ! "

"I won't betray your trust" Tom answered in a rare serious tone which caused Arthur to chuckle a little.

"Then here we go!!! " Arthur shouted and turned around mid air, he deactivated his sharingan and focused the majority of his chakra in a single jutsu, he quickly weaved multiple hand signs and inhaled a deep breath , pumping his chest up

Arthur shouted in his mind ,

'FIRE STYLE : FIREBALL JUTSU "

A massive fireball of 10 metre width was launched towards the forest, the air crackled and the fireball burned down everything in its path and reducing the surrounding trees to ashes.

"I AM STILL NOT DONE YET !!! " Arthur shouted while he unsheathes his sword, he stabilizes his breathing while his body and sword crackled with yellow lightning.

'The air is vibrating! ' Tom thought

"Thunder breathing: First form : THUNDERCLAP AND FLASH!!! ' The ground cracked with lightning.

'He vanished?! ' Tom was shocked by Arthur's speed.

Although the thunder breathing didn't produce any real lightning, the system modified it and now, by using the lightning chakra attribute, one can achieve Godspeed!

*ZZZZZZZ* Arthur jumped from trees to trees while leaving multiple zigzag yellow lightning trails behind, Arthur concentrated all his lightning onto the edge of his short sword like Tom did and released 4 sword strikes towards the direction of the fireball, forming a lightning net with the fireball in middle!

"I CALL THIS LIGHTNING STYLE : HEAVENLY CASTING NET!! " Arthur shouted in excitement before fainting and falling from the sky but luckily Tom caught him

The combination of the massive fireball and yellow lightning perfectly blended together, the fireball ionizing more air for the lightning to traverse and the lightning, inturn increasing the temperature and size of the fireball! The combination of the 2 jutsus created something far more formidable, an inescapable lightning and fire net that encompasses everything and turned everything into ashes.

The forest was laid waste wherever it went and created a massive firestorm crackling

with numerous yellow lightnings, it's power even rivaled High A rank jutsus!

The grey wolves were dumbfounded facing the firestorm and tried to run as fast as they could away from the storm but still most of them were swept inside and met their end.

[Author's note: Arthur used his sharingan to copy Tom's: tidal slash when he was fighting the wolves and further modified it using thunder breathing: thunderclap and flash as a foundation (he is somewhat of a genius) and finally he used the fireball to cast a combination jutsu which even rivaled high A rank jutsu with his genin chakra pool ( note that A rank jutsus can be highly destructive, Kakuzu fire jutsu and temari wind jutsu which swept the forest away was an A rank jutsu as well as the ice whale jutsu in naruto movie 1 which sunk an island size iceberg) ]
