The race against time
Felix drove the van like he was in a race. Well, he was indeed in a race. Race against time to get to the hospital as fast as he could.
Jasmine was in a dire situation, and if they were late, Jasmine could lose her precious life.
Although Jasmine was facing a death penalty and others might say she already had one foot towards the death door, that wasn't a sure thing, unlike her current situation.
Right now, Jasmine could really die if they didn't reach the hospital.
Praying hard to God, Felix chanted 'please don't die,' inwardly, without stopping until they arrived at the emergency bay of the district hospital.
As soon as he stopped the van, Felix opened his door, got out, and went to open the back passenger door.
He picked up Jasmine from Xander and carried Jasmine in a rush inside the emergency department.
"Help, we need assistance here," shouted Felix, catching the attention of the nurses and doctor that were on duty.
