Joint Training: Something to Prove?

As their brief Fall Break ended, classes resumed as normal, Class 1-A stood outside in Ground Gamma awaiting for...

"Hey! Sorry I'm late everyone! Sword problems!" Alyx shouted.

Leonidus quickly ran over towards his friends, coming to a skidding stop as he slid by them. They all noticed his winter costume, it was a white and gold instead of it's regular blue and black. The design on his back was like the design on his Hanafuda earrings.

"I like your outfit! Looks pretty snazzy!" Mina complimented.

"All that flash is worthless compared to us!" Monoma butted in.

Class A looked over to see Class B standing next to them. Aizawa made his way out with Shinso.

"Alright everyone, let me make this simple. We're conducting a Joint Training session, I expect you all to behave with our guest here." Aizawa spoke up.

Shinso stepped forward, "I won't hesitate to take any of your spots if that's the case. I'll be giving it my all and I don't expect any less from any of you. I will become a hero to help others with my Quirk, plain and simple."

"Now, this training exercise will have most of you drawing lots, except for one of you. Being that it's clear the gap between this individual and the rest of you is profound. The first round of this training session will be my Class versus Leonidus." Vlad King announced.

Shota looked over at him, "That's not what we agreed on, Vlad."

"Eraser, do you really expect me to think that kid won't beat-"

"Alright then, let's do it." Alyx agreed.

Everyone turned and faced him. Even Shota himself was stunned at his confidence.

"I'm four months rusty, I've been dying to stretch my wings! Let 'em draw lots first though, just gonna say this, I don't think it'll last too long."

Both classes drew lots to decide their teams. Once the teams where decided, the rules of the session where laid out for the students.

"For the teams, you'll need to capture at least 4 students and put them in a prison within 20 minutes. Of course, Shinso here will be on two of your teams, but don't let this intimidate you. He lacks the experience that you all possess, but that still doesn't mean you can count him out. In Leonidus' case, you'll have 20 minutes to capture all of my students, if they capture you it'll be over. Let's get this started, shall we?" Vlad explained.

The first round started, Leonidus stood alone in Ground Gamma, doing warm-up stretches as he waited for the round to begin.

"This is super exciting! I haven't seen him fight in a while!" Kirishima exclaimed.

"Yeah, I'm excited to see if he does anything new! Then again, he did say he was sitting on his thumbs for a while." Izuku responded.

"This does seem a bit excessive, even for Young Leonidus, are you sure this was a good idea?" All Might asked Vlad King.

"Of course! A kid like him that's super strong would make easy work with four or five people! But 20? That changes the entire playing field."

Mina elbowed Yaoyorozu's arm, "Hey... Hey! He looks kinda cute in white, huh?"

"M-Mina! This isn't the proper place for gossip!" Momo blushed.

The round started up with a horn, Leonidus put his hands in his pockets and walked towards the main area. Everyone watched with intrigue as he walked calmly towards Class B. He stood in a large open area, looking around for any signs of movement. Shihai peered at him from the shadows above, right before he decided to attack, Alyx glanced over towards him.

"Long range fighters? Or long range distractors?" Leonidus called out.

He blocked a fist from Setsuna, who wasn't on the other end to Leonidus' surprise!

"Woah, what?" He mumbled.

"Watch out!" Shoda yelled.

Leonidus turned around and Nirengeki rammed right into him, head first into his stomach, thrown by Jurota from a distance. Leonidus was sent flying into a wall due to Shoda's Quirk, he hit him what felt like twice from just one headbutt.

"Awesome Shoda! You got him!" Itsuka grinned.

"I-I did?" Shoda stuttered.

Leonidus' Overdrive aura burst out and cleared the dust from where he stood.

"I can already tell that you guys are incredible! Honestly, I'm ecstatic to see how different you guys are from my class!" Leonidus bubbled.

Alyx darted towards Shoda, but was stopped by Tetsutetsu, the two clashed fists.

"Hey! You're the guy Kirishima fought at the Sports Fest! Tetsutetsu, right?" Leonidus recognized.

"Y-You know me? That's freakin' sick!" Tetsutetsu burst.

Leonidus spun around and kicked Tetsutetsu's steel face, Kendo drove a huge fist into Alyx's side, knocking him away from Tetsutetsu. He slid off the ground, only to be tackled by Jurota, the two rolled across the ground with Leonidus ending up on top of him.

"Easy there, big guy! This'll only take..." Alyx struggled.

He wrapped an Overdrive Whip around him, "...A second!"

Leonidus chucked Jurota into a metal pipe, effectively capturing him thanks to the Overdrive Whip. A beam of energy flew past Alyx's head, he looked forward to see that Pony was standing next to Yui Kodai. Leonidus noticed that everyone was in groups of two or three.

"𝘎𝘰𝘵𝘵𝘢 𝘵𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘥𝘰𝘸𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘪𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘴, 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘐 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘧𝘰𝘤𝘶𝘴 𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘳 𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘴!" Leonidus strategized.

He phased out of view, everyone looked around to see where he went, Alyx reappeared behind Juzo and Kojiro with capture tape.

"You two must have somethin' in common, huh?" Alyx questioned.

Before they could answer, he wrapped them up in capture tape, then moving onto the next set of students. Mineta stood behind Kinoko, she felt her skirt lift up and she slapped him across the face. Alyx raced over to them, wrapping them up without saying a single word.

"Geez, you gotta tone down those perversions, Mineta! You could've easily stuck to me with those things on your head!" Alyx told him.

He skid across the ground, facing the other 15 students that stood in front of him. Capture tape flew towards him, wrapping around his eyes and ears like a blindfold.

"Awesome, Reiko! Let's rush him!" Itsuka shouted to her.

Vlad King smirked as he watched his students, "Looks like it's about to come to a close."

"Leonidus has trained with the Number One in America most of his life, if anything, it's not close to over. For him, at least." Aizawa smirked back.

Vlad watched as his students rushed towards Alyx, he exhaled out slowly, feeling for each of the oncoming attacks. He effortlessly jumped over Itsuka and Tetsutetsu, gently landing on top of Togaru's head.

"Too slow!" Alyx taunted.

Class B quickened their pace, but Leonidus kept dodging everything thrown at him! They chased after him as he jumped through Ground Gamma, deeper into inner steelworkings.

"Geez, who knew he was so quick, even without a Quirk!" Hagakure commented.

"He's gone under so much training, that's why. Every movement of his is refined, precise and to the point, regardless of the result to himself. If it means saving a friend or taking down an enemy, he'll do it." Shota replied.

Deeper inside Ground Gamma, Leonidus had managed to split Class B up into pairs, some of which had gotten lost by themselves!

"One... Two... Three!" Leonidus counted as he captured students.

The only Class B students left were Itsuka, Tetsutetsu, and Shihai. Leonidus jumped down from a pipe, landing behind Itsuka and Tetsutetsu.

"How is this boy so strong?" Vlad questioned.

"He's been through things run of the mill Pro Heroes would've died in, yet he's survived each and every time, Young Leonidus has some incredible willpower. Truth be told, I wouldn't be shocked if he could take on his own classmates like this!" All Might told him.

Aizawa stepped forward as he looked at the screen, "Alyx took Togata's words to heart during their first "planned" training session. Each of those experiences he's had, they've been converted into knowledge, he's not cocky for show. He's cocky because he knows it'll get under their skin."

Leonidus blocked a hit from Tetsutetsu, throwing him over his shoulder, slamming him into the concrete. He guarded himself as Kendo's big hand shoved him away from Tetsutetsu.

"Phew! You packed quite the punch, Kendo! You've got some form of martial arts skill under your belt, I can tell!" Leonidus grinned.

Tetsutetsu threw a fist at Alyx, he moved his head before it could land, tossing him aside once more.

"Hey, Tetsutetsu... You're cool and all, but you're no match for me." Alyx gibed.

"W-What?! Excuse me?" He fumed.

"Level head, Tetsu-" Kendo tried to calm him down.

"No, screw that! Nobody calls me weak!" Tetsutetsu interrupted.

His entire body became steel as he rushed towards Alyx. He grabbed the hilt of his blade and started to pull it out.

"H-H-Hang on! He can't use his sword!" Mina fretted.

He rose his sword into the air, revealing it to be a wooden practice sword. Alyx dodged each strike Tetsutetsu launched at him. He hopped backwards before taking a deep breath in.

"𝘛𝘰𝘵𝘢𝘭 𝘊𝘰𝘯𝘤𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯... 𝘞𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘉𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨... 𝘚𝘪𝘹𝘵𝘩 𝘍𝘰𝘳𝘮... 𝘞𝘩𝘪𝘳𝘭𝘱𝘰𝘰𝘭!" Leonidus thought.

A huge swarm of water surrounded Tetsutetsu, he began to harden up, as the whirlpool subsided it caused him to completely rust.

"Crap, come on..." Tetsutetsu whined.

Leonidus looked over at Itsuka, she still hadn't moved from her spot.

"𝘈𝘭𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵, 𝘫𝘶𝘥𝘨𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘣𝘺 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘐'𝘷𝘦 𝘴𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘧𝘢𝘳, 𝘐𝘵𝘴𝘶𝘬𝘢'𝘴 𝘤𝘳𝘢𝘻𝘺 𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘨. 𝘚𝘩𝘦'𝘴 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘨𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘪𝘭𝘺, 𝘪𝘧 𝘢𝘵 𝘢𝘭𝘭, 𝘸𝘩𝘪𝘤𝘩 𝘮𝘦𝘢𝘯𝘴 𝘐 𝘤𝘢𝘯'𝘵 𝘳𝘦𝘭𝘺 𝘰𝘯 𝘣𝘦𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘴𝘮𝘶𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘳𝘪𝘭𝘦 𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘶𝘱. 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘰𝘯𝘭𝘺 𝘸𝘢𝘺 𝘐 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘵𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘪𝘴 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘥 𝘰𝘯, 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘯, 𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘴𝘦 𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘢𝘤𝘵 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘦𝘭𝘥𝘴. 𝘚𝘵𝘪𝘭𝘭, 𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘴𝘦 𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘴 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘱𝘰𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘸𝘢𝘺 𝘢 𝘭𝘰𝘵. 𝘛𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘮𝘦𝘢𝘯𝘴 𝘐 𝘮𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘣𝘦 𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘤𝘬 𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘰𝘧𝘧 𝘣𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦!" Leonidus planned.

"Gotcha!" Itsuka called out.

Alyx's train of thought was broken as he looked down, the ground was now nothing but darkness. Shihai moved the shadow he was in to Alyx without him even realizing! Leonidus put a shield around him as the shadows engulfed him.

"It's no use, the weight of my shadows are infinite!" Shihei cackled.

Alyx's shield began to crack, "𝘋𝘢𝘮𝘯 𝘪𝘵! 𝘐 𝘤𝘢𝘯'𝘵 𝘭𝘰𝘴𝘦 𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦! 𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬... 𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬! 𝘞𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘦𝘯𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵, 𝘐 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘨𝘦𝘵 𝘳𝘪𝘥 𝘰𝘧 𝘚𝘩𝘪𝘩𝘢𝘪'𝘴 𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘥𝘰𝘸𝘴. 𝘎𝘦𝘢𝘳 𝘍𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘪𝘴𝘯'𝘵 𝘦𝘯𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩! 𝘑𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘰𝘯𝘤𝘦, 𝘐'𝘭𝘭 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘨𝘰 𝘣𝘦𝘺𝘰𝘯𝘥 𝘮𝘺 𝘭𝘪𝘮𝘪𝘵, 𝘧𝘶𝘳𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘯 𝘣𝘦𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘦!"

A rose-gold aura shot up around Leonidus' Overdrive. The ground rumbled as Alyx charged up to his full power.

"𝘠𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘎𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘧𝘢𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳'𝘴 𝘢 𝘱𝘳𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘧𝘶𝘭 𝘮𝘢𝘯, 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘴𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘤𝘢𝘮𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘩𝘪𝘮. 𝘛𝘩𝘢𝘵'𝘴 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘮𝘢𝘥𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮 𝘴𝘰 𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘨, 𝘢𝘭𝘮𝘰𝘴𝘵 𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘸𝘢𝘺, 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘱𝘳𝘪𝘥𝘦. 𝘐 𝘨𝘶𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘸𝘦 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘯'𝘵 𝘨𝘰𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦, 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘸𝘦?" Darren's words echoed.

Leonidus gasped with realization, "Pride...? How could I... Have forgotten?!"

The shield shattered but the light of Alyx's auras were keeping Shihai's shadow back.

"If I lose here... I can just say goodbye to the pride I never had! I won't let you beat me, I won't let anyone beat me! That's MY pride!" Alyx roared.

Leonidus powered up even more, "BOOST FIRE: TIMES 100!!"

His aura's broke through Shihai's trap, he was flung back and captured before he could even blink! Itsuka found herself captured before she could even register what was going on! The rose-gold light that filled the area ceased, Leonidus took deep, labored breaths as his body slightly trembled. All Might stepped forward as he starred at the screen with awe.

"𝘏𝘦'𝘴 𝘥𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘪𝘵, 𝘋𝘢𝘳𝘳𝘦𝘯... 𝘏𝘦'𝘴 𝘥𝘪𝘴𝘤𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘦 𝘱𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘳..." All Might thought.

Leonidus' left arm locked up, rendering it useless, he looked up at the nearby intercom wondering why the round wasn't over.

"I've still got 8 minutes with you!" Monoma grinned.

Neito's hand connected with Alyx's back before he could react, Leonidus turned around and hopped backwards away from him. A violet aura began to surround Monoma's body.

"Oh no! Monoma has Alyx's Overdrive too! Now they're both the same strength." Uraraka noted.

Alyx held his hand out, "H-Hey! You're body isn't capable of going into any of my Gears, Monoma! Your heart'll stop!"

"Amusing! You don't think I can handle this Quirk of yours?! You can go-" Monoma smugly laughed.

The aura instantly fell, Monoma stood there after taking a single step, he then collapsed to the ground.

"Neito? Neito!?" Alyx panicked.

Alyx knelt down to Monoma, checking for a pulse, a vine suddenly wrapped around both of them. Neito opened his eyes and smirked at Leonidus.

"Gotcha." He smiled.

The horn rang out, the round ended in a tie! The students were unbound from their tape and made it back to the observation deck. Alyx put his hands in a prayer position and bowed in front of Class B.

"Thank you all for the match! I learned a lot about all of you, you guys are awesome!"

"Thaaaaanks~" Rei purred.

"Rei, you just let me capture you almost right off the bat. Like, you were the first person I captured."

"Oh no! Being close to that nice, fit body of yours? Never!"

The students got into their lot drawn groups, Leonidus sat down next to Izuku and Ochako as round two began.

"I'm glad we're the final round, my arm is still locked up! It's pretty much like I'm without a left arm." Alyx chuckled.

Uraraka lifted up his arm, "Yeah, it's almost as if it's broken or something. It feels super weird!"

"So, what even was that anyway?" Midoriya asked.

"My Boost Fire technique? Think of it as a secondary source of power, it burns through my Overdrive a lot quicker, but it gives me a whole lotta strength and speed!" Alyx informed him.

Yaoyorozu came over and sat down next to Alyx. She tapped him two times on the shoulder, they got up and moved away from everyone else to talk.

"How good is your healing ability?" Momo questioned.

"I can heal almost anything except for some illnesses, missing body parts, and death. Why? What's up?" Leonidus responded.

"It's... My dad. He's fallen ill and hasn't recovered in weeks. I've been-" Momo started to explain.

"I'll do whatever it is I need to do!" Alyx interrupted.

"Are you sure? Doesn't healing take a lot out of you?" Yaoyorozu replied.

"It does, but I don't care about that, the only thing I'll care about is making sure your dad's okay. I don't want you going through the same pain I felt." Alyx promised.

Rei looked over at them, "Huh, wonder what they're talking about?"

"Who knows, maybe dinner plans or somethin'?" Yosetsu guessed.

"I don't understand," Momo smiled and shook her head, "Why are you always so kind?"

"Why? I guess someone has to be kind. I'm not kind to make everyone happy, that's not the point, I'm kind just in case someone needs to see a smile. I refuse to judge anyone unless proven otherwise, people have their own stories to tell, all I need to do is hear 'em."

"Wow... That was sort of poetic."

"Really? Maybe I should think a lot more about things then!"

The two walked back to their classmates, but Leonidus didn't sit down. Everyone looked back with curiosity as he stared right back at them.

"I have an announcement to make everyone, I won't be going by 'Leonidus' as my hero name anymore. I'm going by 'The Overdrive Hero: Vanguard' from here on out!" He announced.

"Woah, what's with the name change, bro?" Kirishima wondered.

"I don't wanna chase after my father anymore, I have go down my own path, that's what I need to do in order to become the hero I want to be. I'll carve my own legacy just like he would've!"

"Isn't that technically still chasing after your Father?" Jiro asked.

Leonidus turned over to her, "N-NO! IT'S JUST THAT HE WOULD'VE DONE THE SAME IN MY SHOES!"

"So, chasing after him? Got it." Jiro smirked.

"I would bonk you if you weren't a woman."

"OMG! Your bang wiggles when you're frustrated?! That's so adorable!" Mina squealed.

Alyx looked up at his bang and noticed that it was indeed wiggling. He patted it to make it stop.

"Huh, it normally does that when I lie, but I wasn't lying? Strange..." Alyx muttered.

"Still chasing after your daaaaaad." Jiro smiled.

Leonidus simply turned around and frowned. Kyoka started giggling as lightly punched his arm.

"Hey, we're always chasing after someone, right?"

"Yeah, I guess so."

"Wow, that's the nicest I've ever seen Jiro be!" Kaminari marveled.

"Probably just to you, Kami." Sero responded.

Denki nodded in thought before answering, "You know what, you're probably right."

As the rounds drew towards the final, Leonidus and his team were waiting in their area for the round to begin.

"Monoma caught you off guard, right?" Izuku wondered.

"He did, but that's because I thought he couldn't handle my Quirk, but I guess he can." Alyx agreed.

"What's the plan then?" Uraraka asked.

"I've got something in mind, trust me." Leonidus grinned.

As the round started, they moved towards the open parts of Ground Gamma, Leonidus stopped in his tracks as he heard a familiar voice.

"Alyx..." Laura's voice echoed.

"Laura?" He mumbled.

He made his way towards the voice, Shinso was hiding behind a pipe that Alyx passed, he shot out his capture weapon and it wrapped around Leonidus' arm. Hitoshi was then sprung forward as Alyx pulled him, Leonidus grabbed his shirt and stared him down.

"How? How did you know her voice?" Leonidus inquired.

Shinso was extremely confused, "That's Momo's...?"

Leonidus dropped Shinso and backed away from him. Hitoshi realized that he didn't use his Quirk in that moment.

"What did you mean by that?" Shinso wondered.

Leonidus refused to answer him, a bead of sweat ran down Hitoshi's cheek as Alyx's cold stare finally set in. He could tell he was thinking the same question nonstop in his head. Shinso took a step back and Alyx took one forward, Aizawa squinted his eyes to try and see what was going on.

"Looks like Shinso found Alyx." Shota noticed.

"Yeah, but something's off here. Just look at him." Bakugo chimed in.

A menacing aura radiated off of Leonidus, Shinso clutched his capture weapon, preparing for Alyx to make a move. A fist of Overdrive came flying past Shinso's head, ramming right into Leonidus' stomach and sending him flying into a metal pipe. Monoma stepped forward with a smirk on his face.

[Flashback]

"Why don't you like him? He's really nice!" Itsuka questioned.

"I just know a spoiled brat when I see one, that confident look of his, that's the look of someone who's been given everything. I'll show him up, you'll see..."

"Spoiled brat? I don't get how you see that, Monoma."

[Present Day]

Neito put one foot up on a railing as he looked across to Alyx. He patted the clock on his belt.

"I still have 4 minutes with your Quirk! It's rather useful, you know? I've done some digging and found quite the interesting thing!" Monoma shouted.

Itsuka leaned forward a bit, "Oh no... Mr. Kan, you need to stop him!"

"Why? He seems to be doing alright." Vlad King responded.

"He's gonna-" Itsuka fretted.

Monoma leaned forward with a menacing smile, "MAYBE IF YOU WEREN'T TRYING TO BE LIKE YOUR POOR EXCUSE OF A FATHER, THE VEGAS INCIDENT WOULDN'T HAVE HAPPENED! OR WAS IT BECAUSE YOU WERE TOO SCARED OF BECOMING HIM?! EITHER WAY, A ROTTEN BRAT LIKE YOU HAD IT COMING!!"

The grounds became silent, everyone looked over to where Monoma and Leonidus were.

"Oh crap... He didn't..." Mina shuddered.

Overdrive began to flare out of Leonidus' scar, as he looked up, blood was around the white of his eyes, a showering wave of anger fell over Ground Gamma. In mere seconds, he was in front of Monoma, fist reeled all the way back. Neito glided by Alyx's fist, flipping over him just in time. Monoma looked behind him as Alyx still stood in place, the entire student body was stunned to see that a portion of Ground Gamma was gone! Leonidus stood up and turned towards Neito, who had fear written all over his body language.

"Maybe you're right," Alyx scowled, "But I refuse to let an arrogant prick like you say that unless you're willing to back it up."

"Y-You think I'm scared of you, Class A's Golden Boy?! Don't make me laugh!" Monoma cackled.

"You are, I can smell it. You'll never be as good as me."

Leonidus activated both of his Quirks, "I hate people like you, Monoma. If you were a villain, I wouldn't have missed that last strike on purpose."

Shinso stepped out in front of Monoma with his arms out wide.

"Stop! If you're gonna capture someone, then capture me, calm down!" Shinso bargained.

"Get out of my-" Alyx thundered.

Before he could strike Shinso, he stopped in his tracks, Hitoshi was finally able to utilize his Quirk! Monoma went to capture Alyx but Shinso pushed him away, Neito fell on the ground as Shinso stood over him, grabbing his collar.

"What in the hell are you doing? If you're gonna act like that, then I know who I'll be replacing. Everything you just said, did you even take into account how that would affect him? Or are you so inconsiderate that whatever comes out of that shithole of yours is alright as long as it makes you feel good? Pathetic." Shinso condemned.

He pulled his hand away from Monoma's collar, "Go find everyone else, I'll handle him. Now."

Neito brushed himself off before leaving, once Shinso's brainwashing wore off, Alyx found himself in a completely different area then before.

"Glad you didn't kill him, that wouldn't have looked good on your record. Are you alright?" Shinso chuckled.

"Yeah, I'm okay. I guess I deserved that."

Shinso sat down next to Leonidus, "You're still living in the past, you know that? None of that was your fault. It was the A.H.A.'s fault, they didn't respond until twenty minutes after it all started, the only person on the scene was Star and Stripe. The League is nothing compared to that group of villains in America. Monoma seems to be, to put it bluntly, a prick."

"But there's gotta be a reason behind it, right? He's never been that aggressive to anyone else in my class."

"Then go find out. It's the only way."

Leonidus nodded at him and the two left the makeshift building they were in. It shrunk as Yui stepped out from behind a pipe.

"Mm." Yui waved.

"We never saw you, alright?" Hitoshi grinned.

"Right!" Alyx smiled.

They ran off in different directions, Leonidus searched for Monoma's Heat Energy, he felt it near Midoriya's Heat Energy. Alyx quickened his pace towards him, he made his way into the center of Ground Gamma.

"Monoma!" Leonidus shouted.

Neito turned around to see Alyx standing behind him. The students watching all stood on their feet.

"Could we listen in on what they're saying, Mr. Aizawa?" Iida asked.

"I believe so, give me one moment." Shota responded.

Aizawa messed around with the intercoms and security to listen in on Leonidus and Monoma.

"What's your problem with me?" Alyx questioned.

"You wanna know? Do you?! Your father failed me, when All For One attacked Musutafu, my aunt and some of my school friends were killed. Right. In front. Of me. Your dad didn't even bother coming to see if anyone survived! But you know who did? All Might! Your father was a joke! You wouldn't believe the anger I felt in my little body back then when I saw 'Overdrive and All Might Save the Day!' despite hundreds being killed! Since then, I wished nothing but despair on your entire family. " Neito retorted.

Leonidus' face changed to one of regret, "𝘔𝘰𝘯𝘰𝘮𝘢... 𝘐 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥'𝘷𝘦 𝘢𝘴𝘬𝘦𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘳 𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘢𝘥 𝘰𝘧 𝘧𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵. 𝘐 𝘸𝘪𝘴𝘩 𝘐 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘢𝘱𝘰𝘭𝘰𝘨𝘪𝘻𝘦 𝘰𝘯 𝘮𝘺 𝘧𝘢𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳'𝘴 𝘣𝘦𝘩𝘢𝘭𝘧, 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘐 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘺𝘰𝘶'𝘭𝘭 𝘯𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘨𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘩𝘪𝘮. 𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘩𝘦 𝘥𝘪𝘥 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘸𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘨. 𝘐 𝘨𝘶𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦'𝘴 𝘰𝘯𝘭𝘺 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘺 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘦𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘱𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘦𝘧𝘶𝘭𝘭𝘺."

Alyx held his arms out wide as Monoma ignited with Leonidus' Overdrive. Every last bit of Overdrive went into Neito's arms, he ran towards Alyx, launching fists at full power.

"I HATE YOU! I HATE YOU! I HATE YOU!!" He repeated.

Leonidus stood firm as Monoma dealt huge blows to his stomach, his punches began to slow down, Alyx saw tears fall down his face as he let off one last, weak punch.

"They should still be here... They should..." Neito sobbed.

Monoma fell forward into Alyx, exhausted from his Overdrive. Blood dripped down Alyx's mouth as he held Monoma.

"I know, they should be here with you, not victims on All For One's list. It's my father's fault, there's nothing I can say that'll make you forgive me or my family." Alyx agreed.

Neito weakly pat Alyx's back before falling unconscious. Alyx wrapped capture tape on Monoma, flying over towards his base's prison.

"I promise, I'll make it up to you, Monoma." He vowed.

He placed Monoma gently on the ground before flying back towards Izuku and the others. A huge strip of darkness jetted past him, suddenly, more of them came towards him! He dodged through them, making his way towards the source, his eyes widened as he saw it was coming from Izuku! Uraraka was holding on to him for dear life as everyone around sought cover. Alyx rushed several feet above Midoriya, his hands began to glow a bright violet.

"Heaven's Bind!" Alyx shouted.

Leonidus clasped his hands together, creating a barrier around Izuku and Uraraka, it cut off the tendrils that came from Izuku's arm. He struggled to keep his hands together as the tendrils tried to break free from the barrier.

"S-Shinso!!" Leonidus yelled.

Hitoshi looked up and took his mask off, "Midoriya! Let's fight again sometime!"

"A-Alright! Alright!" Izuku nodded.

Izuku's eyes went blank and the tendrils stopped, Leonidus let go of the barrier and panted as he levitated to the ground, Midoriya was completely unconscious.

"Deku? Deku!" Uraraka fretted.

Uraraka shook him at first, then slapped him which woke him up. Leonidus made his way over to the two.

"Are you both alright? That was intense!" Alyx asked.

"Yeah, we're okay. What about you?" Izuku responded.

"For the most part, I'm doing just fine. We should-"

An assault of nuts and bolts of various sizes came rushing towards them, the trio split up, but so did the nuts and bolts! Alyx spun around and created a shield of Overdrive to block the attack. He slid across the ground but was pulled behind a pipe.

"There you are! Where have you guys been? I've been pinned down almost the entire time!" Mina whispered.

Leonidus peaked through the pipes to see Reiko and Yui firing off nuts and bolts across the field, attempting to track them all down. A hoard of screws burst through the pipe next to the two, Alyx grabbed Mina and they rolled out of the way. Reiko and Yui directed everything they had at them. Leonidus stood in front of Mina, activated both his Overdrive and his Boost Fire technique at times 60 magnification.

"PLEASE DON'T STOP HITTING THOSE THINGS!" Mina screamed.

"I'M TRYING!! IZUKU!! URARAKA!!!"

Uraraka moved around a pipe behind Yui and Reiko, she chopped the back of Reiko's neck, Yui looked over only to be quickly subdued by Izuku's Blackwhip! With just less than a minute left, Team 1-A had declared victory!

[Later That Night...]

After the intense joint training session, Class 1-A and 1-B decided to hang out.

"Hey, where's Monoma?" Itsuka wondered.

"Better yet, where's Leonidus?" Iida added.

Outside on the porch of the dorms, the two were sitting next to each other on the stairs.

"I'm sorry for saying that I hated you, those words should've never came out of my mouth." Alyx apologized.

Silence continued between the two before Leonidus broke it once more, "You don't need to apologize to me, Monoma. After everything you told me, I don't expect you to, and that's okay."

"I won't ever forgive your father, but I do forgive you." Monoma finally spoke.

"Huh? You do?" Alyx puzzled.

"I crossed a line with what I told you, I apologize about that." Monoma continued.

Alyx nodded and smiled as he looked into the night sky. Leonidus' ears began to ring then stopped seconds after, he stood up and began to walk back inside.

"Hey, thank you, Neito. I'm going to the Seventh Plane for a bit, a friend needs me there, tell everyone that for me please." Leonidus informed him.

Monoma didn't say anything to him, Leonidus walked back inside and went up to his room. He laid down in his bed, closed his eyes, and entered the Seventh Plane. He opened his eyes to see a girl standing in the far distance.

"Hello? Are you lost? Do I know you?" He called out to her.

The girl turned around, Alyx finally read her Heat Energy and nearly passed out, the girl's eyes held years of torment and bloodshed.

"Yes, you do. I need your help, big brother." Liz replied.
