Sorry I haven't been uploading as much. I just recently won a self defense case after months of trials.
I have a CCW Permit, or "Concealed Carry Weapons permit" (I live in the United States of America) and I recently had to fatally shoot 1 man and injure 2 other men who tried to break into my house.
Their motives were to rob and potentially rape me, as they had been casing out my house for a while.
As you know, if you've read some of the earlier chapters, that I don't have a great history with men, especially those who want to force themselves on me.
However, I don't like that I had to use my firearm, as I still value human life to a very high degree.
What pains me the most is that the family of the man who I had fatally shot spared no effort to try and get me convicted for either Manslaughter or Murder.
Thankfully, I hired a good attorney, and they argued that since the 3 men each had a firearm on their person, all of which were stolen, and the fact that the state I live in has both Castle Doctrine and Stand Your Ground laws.
It went on for a while until I was found Not Guilty.
Despite me winning the case, I willingly paid for the man's funeral, to which the family then apologized to me, saying that they had no idea he had a stolen gun on him.
