Chapter 70: Clan war (3)

Perseus POV

Damn, no longer a funny number.

Anyway, as we head to the treasure chamber, we saw one flew up from the stairs which we dodged and the guy hit the ceiling right behind us.

He crashed against it and fall to the ground with rubble of the building falling on him and burying him.

"Hey, we're not supposed to kill them!"

"C'mon, you know I have a hard time controlling my physical strength." Terra pouted as she hold the other guy by the neck "I was raised in the rough terrain in the mountains, this is normal!"

"Well , you're raised in the mountains, not the jungle, gorilla arms."

She then dropped the guy she was holding who is now struggling to breathe. I then used created metal ropes out of magic to tie him u in place, well camera man, now that we've handle on our part, change the POV, the others need their time to shine.

3rd person POV

Once Diana and the 2 other raider reached the throne room, they got hit with a barrage of several different spells that were casted by one of the members, and the other member shot out an onslaught of arrows.

A large thick wall of steel then erupted from the ground to block all the shots. When the 2 in the throne room took their small break, in that split second, Zach and Decker got warped by Diana and dropped from the sky.

Decker tried to knock the one under him with his dual claymore on the head, but the person was a miniature giant who then tried to morph into his original size and countered as he grew.

A large phoenix shape flame shot toward the giant and hit him backwards and crashed against the wall.

Zach on the other hand is now engaged in hand to hand combat with a bear person from the beast folk. Zach is smart with his moves as he is using the bear's strength against themselves.

"Come on, man, I don't really specialize in fighting, I'm more of a brain person." Zach laughed as he humiliated his opponent "I'm only the 3rd strongest in my own clan and that difference in strength between me and 2nd place are still too wide."

Zach flipped backwards and summon several golden spears and shot them at high speed towards his opponent. His opponent then morphed into their beast form and summon a rock wall with a roar.

A few sear broke through, the bear used its arm to block it, the spears stab through their arm and blood spurted out.

<Midas Touch> Zach casted and charge at his opponent.

He dodged a swing and slide through its legs and grabbed a tuff of fur. The area then transformed into gold slowly. Decker got warped to the area and used both of his blades to swiftly cut off both of its legs.

As the bear fell sideways, Decker swung and used the flat part of the blade to hit the bear away. The bear then flew from that it.

"Tough guy, he has trained his body to be tougher than metal, luckily, I can easily cut through gold." Decker chuckled

Diana then used magic to lift the giant who got up and lift who through the castle, tearing everything down and threw him out of bounds.

The saw the one guarding the stair heading down to join the other 2 after spectating the fight to stand a chance.

Cordelia POV

I turned off my screen to spectate what's going on outside, but I can easily tell that a fight is going on as my surroundings rumbled and agitated the spirits and golems below me.

I used all my strength to pull myself up and climbed the unravel chains a bit, I swung the bottom half of the chains to wrap my left arm, with my right arm, I used my sword and tried to detach myself from the chains and cut it.

I'm sure my sword is sharp, but I can only chip it little by little.

"Man, I'm so weak."

After that small complain, I hack till I managed to sever the chains. And I was right, as long as the chains are on me, the monsters in here won't attack me.

The rumbling got louder and sound more destructive as the time goes by, I'm not a specialist with air or wind magic, but I managed to get myself clumsily afloat.

But as the rumbling got closer, and no, this is not a reference to a certain series of man eating titans, I flew far away from the giant doors. After a few seconds, the door exploded open with 3 familiar figures standing there and behind them are the injured opposing clan members.

The spirits and the golems then started to attack them, but I can see Decker throw both of his swords towards my direction, it spun and tear anything in its path before flying back to him like a dual boomerang.

With a swing of Zach's arm, he shot out mist of golden glitter, and the spirits in the air started to turn into gold statures. A rope made of black flames then shot towards me and pulled me at quick speed towards Diana.

"Oh man, I would've thrown up if I'm not used to this kind of speed, Perseus can run super fast."

"Oh, good." Diana snickered and then took off the chain off my arms "Enjoy the drop."

She then dropped me to the lava, I had no time to react and panicked as I saw the fire golems run across the lava to my direction at quick speed. I would lie and say that I was brave and totally did not let out a high pitch scream throughout the whole way, but yeah...

I tried my best to shoot out ice magic and water magic but the lava was too hot and just evaporated everything.

I was legit about 10 cm away from the lava before I was stopped midair. I turned to see Diana grabbed me by the collar and hold me there with a scary smile.

"If you want my little brother, don't forget that you have to go through me first." she warned "Welcome to the clan."
