I guess you were surprised to see "finale" in the title of today's chapter. Is it hard for you to adjust to the fact that the end of each section has suddenly become really "The End"? Do you feel a little bit attached to the story, the characters and the author? (#^. ^#)

In fact, you probably can't imagine the mixed emotions an author feels whenever he or she types the words "The End". It may be mixed with the joy of finally delivering the book, but also with the anxiety - has the book lived up to the author's expectations? Does it live up to his or her hard work? Does it meet the expectations of the reader? This is the unique experience of writing a long novel. After all, with the length and structure of a long novel, it is not easy to finish a book with the same design and structure as the beginning and allow the characters to grow freely without violating the original wishes of the 'parents'.

I'll be taking a break from writing during the Chinese New Year to properly conceptualise the next part of the story. Let's say goodbye to Yuan Ge, Rong Qiuchen, Arthur Guan, Amélie Jiang and the others for a while, and say hello to them again in the Year of Tiger.
