Chapter 15: Should I Enslave her now?

I brought Nila back to the mansion, when I got back I got this weird stare from Nora when she saw me carrying Nila in my arms.

" Why are you looking at me like that," I said to Nora

" Did you kidnap her?" Nora ask.

'This girl, just what does she think of me?' I ignored her and brought Nila to the maid asking for her to be cleaned up.

I went back to my room feeling tired from the things that happen.

"What a day," I said as jump into my bed.

First, was the embarrassing evolution that I want to erase from my memory, then the thing about Nila.

"You are really lucky to stumble upon her, you know," Zilla appeared in the room sitting on a chair with her legs crossed and holding a book.

"What do you think we should do about her?"

"Let her come to our side, it should be easy to do as she's in a vulnerable state" she made the book disappear and look around the room.

When she didn't find the thing she was looking for she ask, "Where are the sweets?"

"Wait for a little while, I already ask the maids about those, Oh I also told them to bring the girl here when they're done"

"Want me to Enslave her?"

"You know for someone so cute, you say the scariest thing sometimes" my eyes widen for her to even think about that.

"So much for being chaos huh," with a sarcastic voice she said.

"Last I check your enslavement is still locked how can you use it?"

"I can still use it but compared to my former power it's such a joke as even a stubborn baby could get away from it. Right now I can only enslave those who are already broken and is emotionally unstable like her"

"So that's how it is, can you tell me more about this link we share?" I've been curious about this for a while now because we both have the same stats except for my chaos energy.

"How do I put this?" she taps her finger on the table pondering the question.

"A grimoire is a special type of being created by mana. In certain cases, mana can have a will on its own by the emotions put forth by its wielder but this typically only happens to those who have a high affinity towards mana like Witches and creatures such as Druids and Elves. When that happens he/she can use that mana and put it on a medium and give birth to a sentient object, that's how artifacts are usually created.

If the owner of that artifact dies then that artifact will be sealed until its next master has been chosen as it can't sustain itself on its own. In order for the artifact to keep itself awake, the master needs to create a link between the artifact and himself, but in order to create a link certain requirements must be met such as class, abilities, talent, blood, and even personality.

The artifact will search through the memories of the person attempting to link with them and can reject it if it deems the person unfit to wield them. Link varies from each artifact but mine allows me to get stronger as the master grows"

"That's a lot of information but I kinda get it now. Can I also make artifacts like that?" this piece of news is a game changer judging by what Zilla said it seems that the library can recreate a person's identity and make it alive by using mana.

Not only in the library but everyone in this world who has a high affinity to mana can actually make a living person defying any sort of logic. There's also the possibility of me creating fictional characters to life.

Just thinking about this makes my blood boil, my waifus can be brought to life this is the best freakin world ever.

"That's impossible no matter what you do your chaos bloodline will reject anything aside from the energy even now you can barely control mana without my help...unless" Zilla then realized something and stop her sentence.

"Unless I extract another ability on a novel" I cut her off and continued what she was about to say.

I already have a novel in mind with that and was planning on getting it next. But after hearing what Zilla said about creating life it made me even more determined to get it.

If it weren't for the girl we were waiting I would've rushed straight to the mansion's library and complete the mission as soon as possible.

"Right now I'm halfway in completing the mission it won't be long till I get there" I smirk thinking about my next ability and the grimoire I'll be receiving.

"Oh right speaking of this I forgot to tell you that I can also add a book in the library when I last read about the Sorcery King" Zilla suddenly added making me speechless.

"What are you waiting for go read in the library, I'll ask the maids to bring all the sweets you want if you help me with this please" I got up and instantly arrived by her side grabbing her smooth delicate hand with both of my hands ask her.

Zilla was startled by my actions and seem to have trouble looking at me directly in the eyes as she look away.

'What's her problem?' It's weird I never saw Zilla getting embarrassed before. Then I thought of something 'Is the novels she has been reading influencing her?'

"Di-did you forget that I can only stay within 30meters of you" she nervously said.

"Ohh so you don't wanna leave my side, what's wrong why are you getting embarrassed all of a sudden no need to be shy" I tease her.

BAAMM

A loud smacking sound was heard.

The next thing I knew my face was already on the floor. I put my hand on my right cheek as it was hurting badly then I went to get a mirror, I could see a red slap mark on the right side of my cheek.

'I didn't even see that coming aren't we supposed to have the same stats? what the heck'

"You know you're being too cocky lately maybe is that because of your new power? Wanna have a spar again?" Zilla put a hand on my shoulder gripping it tightly I could almost hear the sound of my bones breaking.

"I was just joking can't you take a joke" cold sweat appeared on my forehead remembering the horrific experience the last time I sparred with Zilla.

Knock, knock

" Young master we brought the girl and sweets here" the maid knocked on the door.

"You can come in," I said happy that Zilla was finally gone and was waiting back in her seat.

Two maids open the room one holding a girl another maid pushing a luxurious food cart it has was made of wood with gold decorated on its sides.

The food cart contains a bunch of sweets cookies, macarons, cakes, and tarts each made by the personal chef of the mansion Hailey. She's a mage but not a combat one there are many types of mages in this world making them more versatile than aura users.

By applying mana to enrich the flavor of the food combined with her excellent cooking even without mana she can become successful with just her cooking, if she was on my world then without a doubt she'll become a 5-star chef in a restaurant.

"She's still not awake?" I ask looking at Nila who was sleeping soundly like a log.

"Yes young master, even after washing her she still didn't wake up" The maid said.

'The poor girl must be sleep deprived and haven't rested in a while, good thing my song was effective'

"I see, you may go now"

The maids bowed after putting all the sweets on my table and then left my room. I ask the maids for Nila to be put on my bed the maid has a weird look on her face when I ask her that but still did as I said.

Zilla started eating the cakes and took out a novel from the library. My eyes twitch looking at her relaxed expression not even caring about the mission. I then started the same as I pick some books in the room and drinking some tea while reading.

Then suddenly out of nowhere ruining the quiet mood Zilla said, "Should I Enslave her now?"
