Well, it was not like I trusted the government THAT much the thing's that my father in-law was part of the government,

Was he part of this too?

Either ways, my mind was on another thing.

"Why do you want to use HER for the experiment? Why not someone else?".

I probed.

"Oh but why SOMEONE ELSE, if I use HER, I get to watch AND put you under pressure".

She said saucily.

"Plus, she's the only candidate that meets my criterias for the experiment and....".

"I would make it worth your while".

"No".

"Huh?!".

"No....see, I have suffered this thing at your terrible hands before, I was your puppet, I didn't even what I was then".

I explained.

"So....No I am not joining you in your wild goose chase which I hope will blow NEGATIVELY in your sorry ass face".

She sighed then grumbled.

"Well, I tried asking nicely and you refused, so we'll do it the hard way".

She brought out an android from her lab coat pocket then shoved the screen to my nose.

"Do you recognise THESE people?".

She asked menacingly.

In the screen was my wife Lydia, whom had obviously just got off from work, getting ready dinner.

With Pikachu in the living room lazing around on the couch.

I had expected they had eyes on me but on my family? MY family?!

Okay that just made me mad.

"Ok what the ***k is the meaning of this, why in hell is there a spy camera in my house?! And for how long?!".

"Calm down Roki, I don't see anything".

She said taking the phone away from my face, looking satisfied with my reaction.

"Look, my people are watching you, the GOVERNMENT is watching you and you means every one you care about,

And of course my beloved test subject".

I was speechless.

"So, it's either you agree or I'll have them blow up your house with your family in it and also kidnap the girl to complete the experiment".

"So..... either ways it's a win-win for me and a lose:win-lose for you".

My face was contoured with difficulty as my mind spun.

"But.....but you know there's a possibility that she could die ....!".

"Ohh...Big Whoop, make up your mind Roki, before I change mine".

I thought harder.

On one hand my family, on another hand, a girl barely old enough, an 'orphan' someone whom I didn't know all that much, a familiar stranger.

For God sake, my OWN daughter was around her age!!

But....

No matter how unfair it was, the choice was obvious.

"I.....I'll help you but how am I going to inject it in her?". I said hesitantly.

"Oh come on use your imagination, Roki, you're fun".

She brought out the phone and texted someone, I think,

Soon, a man wearing a dark lab coat with a mask came in carrying a heavy duty metal vessel containing the |n$£€T|$|D and a medicine box.

The man took in front of me and left the box in Selína's hands then left just as suddenly as he had came.

She handed me the box and said, "In there are twelve syringes and metal needles to go with, measure out exactly ten ml each month and give her".

"I have a feeling that I've been giving them too fast".

"And Roki, I know you're a good man but consider my threat an encouragement to do this".

She said.

Having achieved what she came here for, she left through the door.
