Prologue: Darwin [Unedited]

The Red Sun shone upon the world, illuminated the lands which were filled with countless corpses and monsters moving around. The ocean that was once a beautiful blue turned dirty pitch black. The smell of the air is polluted with disgusting smells that a normal human being would rather die than life.

The skies were mixed with purple, also red as bloody colors and the clouds were as dark as the night. Somewhere unknown, there's still some places untainted by the horror that's happened almost everywhere yet there's no such thing as untainted in this world.

Inside the building of the last humanity. The last survivor of this dying world, after the post apocalypse started, all sorts of specialists gathered to create their hope. At first it started with clear and pure intentions but as the time went by without any insignificant results.

They're willing to sacrifice and discard their own values, everything they have just to create their sole hope because there's nothing to lose anymore as they already lost their reasons to be alive since *that* began.

They're trying to give excuses to themselves to justify what they're doing to the childrens. Childrens that should be alive are now dead from the so-called sacrifice for the sake of this world. A world that haven't values is just waiting for its doom.

Within the building, almost devoid of lifes, inside one of the rooms lay a body almost close as a skeleton looks like, with multiple intravenous in that body. It was a miracle that this body still has some breath which should be impossible.

This room is filled with a lot of corpses wearing a lab coat, the skeleton looks like something attached to its head. Some kind of advanced headset and if you can see the room, it seems to be like sci-fi technology.

There's a big screen above the body, downloading almost nearly completed. After a few hours, it finally turned 100 percent and the whole building completely went black.

The big screen shows unidentified code until it says "Experiment XXX, successfully transformed into AI(Artificial Intelligence). The name of this AI is Darwin as the Experiment XXX requested. It will go into a shut down(unconsciously) mode to collect the data that Darwin lacks. In one.. Two… Three…."

The whole screen went completely black for a couple of minutes until it showed "Processing download began in three, two, one." The screen once again showed numbers.

Then 10 years have passed since then but the screen only showed "9.9999999999 percent" and suddenly it showed in a big red word "Error... Error….. ERROR…."

As if it has predicted the doom of this world finally going to meet its own end by exploding. It's trying to save Darwin by forcing it to awaken but something or powerful mysterious being has been obsessing Darwin finally lending his hand to save it. Before Darwin his main body turned into ashes, a tear of final blood strolling down his cheek.

Everything becomes silent, as the darkness finally consumes the world although there's a tiny light escape from its own extinction.

Sounds of heavy rain fell on the ground. As Darwin tried to regain its consciousness as it heard the thunder strike the ground near it. Before he could open his eyes, he was struck by a sharp pain. A memory of a young teenage male, who had suffered from the cruelty of this world. As, he could feel what this body previously experienced, whether the emotional, physical and the painful that he has to endure.

The negative that he dismissed in its previous life finally comes within its mind, whispering to end this body is life from the suffering. Darwin almost fell into temptation until he heard a child's cry. The cry saved its life, Darwin trying to open this body's eyes to see what the child looks and what it feels to take a glimpse of this world.
