Chapter 13 This immortal will make you pay

Emma felt happy. 

She could control her mind really well after Jake taught her and showed her something like that.

A mind like a galaxy. It was beautiful and scary at the same time.

"I want to be as strong as him. But I know my limit."

There was no way she could make her mind become that strong. She thought about him and wondered how he could make his mind become so strong like that.

Emma looked at Jake who was now sleeping in the class. The professor gave up on him to try to make him pay attention to the class.

Jake and Emma went to the rooftop but there was something different today.

Emma sighed and shook her head. He really knew how to mess her up.

"Can you teach me that technique?"

Jake watched everything unfold with an unreadable expression. No one could ever fathom what was inside his mind right now.

He was too late because he was busy finding the dragon bones.

Jake felt very angry for the first time since his soul had become immortal.

He never thought that something like this would happen to his big sister.

Jake wanted to kill it in the next strike but a gunshot rang out interrupting him first. 

Someone shot him but with his reflex he just brushed it off with his soul sword.

"Stand off, That monster is our property! You are going to be charged with destroying the military's property!"

A man with a lot of bad kamar shouted at him. Jake narrowed his eyes.

He wanted to kill the man who shot him but there were too many witnesses.

This world was different from the world of cultivators. He could not kill anyone as he pleased.

"What is your name? And who are you."

Jake asked instead of killing him. He had a way to deal with this situation.

"My name is Thaddeus Ross, people call me General Ross!"

He seemed to be proud of his name and position. Jake smiled coldly toward him.

There were journalists between them so this news would be spread through the internet.

General Ross was completely lost for words. He didn't think that he would be talking down like this.

Jake didn't wait for General Ross to speak anything more as he cut off the red giant beast head. And then he burned his corpse with purgatory fire.

His body was burnt to dust in no time.

Jake then went straight to help his sister out of the debris and he wanted to bring her as far away as possible from the place.

As for the green beast, it already left.

He could feel that it wasn't evil and he decided to let it go. It was like a newborn baby.

It never wanted to hurt anyone but it was pressured into doing something it didn't like.

And when Jake was about to leave with his sister. General Ross tried to stop him.

"Where do you think you are going! Arrest him!"

He ordered his soldiers but no one dared to move. They didn't want to end up like the red giant beast.

"You all make the right choice. If you follow the order of such a man. You all won't survive to see your loved ones."

Jake then disappeared without a trace.

General Ross felt very angry.

"Use the face scanner and see who is that b*stard! I will drag him here and punish him myself!"

The soldiers looked at each other. They didn't want to do it but they didn't have a choice.

They used the face scanner with the record they had on him. However, when they looked into the record. His face was distorted and couldn't be seen through the video.

The soldiers felt relieved that they couldn't use a face scanner on him.

"F*ck!"

General Ross threw the laptop on the floor out of anger. He lost everything today. And he knew that the repercussions would take its toll on him.

Emma heard what happened to Jake and Jenny. 

She became close to the siblings after she spent most of her time with Jake.

She headed toward his house as fast as she could. When she arrived she immediately hugged Jake who opened the door for her.

"Are you okay Jake, what about Jenny? Is she safe?"

Jake felt a little embarrassed that he couldn't see it coming. But he returned her hug.

"She is okay now. Just need to rest a little. Come on in, I don't want anyone to see us like this."

Jake carried Emma who was still hugging him inside the house.

And it just came to her mind that she was actually boldly hugging him.

She let him go and coughed in her hand a little.

"Sorry, Can you tell me what happened again? Maybe I can help you with something you find annoying."

Jake thought about it and nodded. He trusted her enough to tell her something about that.
