Vespion's Truth Seeker

"Enough drama. Neal, we need to talk."

That voice rang to his ears and his face automatically became disgusted.

"Of all the members of the Vespion, why the fuck did they sent you? I'm doomed." Neal snorted sarcastically. He slumped his face on the table, not even wanting to look at him.

The handsome man with blonde dyed mullet hair chuckled. He put his hands on the pocket of his white pants along with his white suit. He gazed at Jayson who now felt awkward.

"Pardon my rudeness, but can you please leave us alone for a second?" He said.

Jayson sprang from his seat. "Yes, sir!"

Hellion Cassius, the top 1 strongest gifted vampire among the vespion. He was nicknamed 'the truth seeker' because he can see the truth and lies just by looking at someone's eyes. He likes to dye his hair with different colors according to his mood.

Right now, it was blonde and a perfect pair for his white attire.

Hellion pulled a chair and crossed his legs. "So, Neal. Are you ready to tell the truth?"

Neal gave him a glaring gaze. "You don't look cool at all. You're creeping me out," he mumbled, definitely showing that he didn't have an ounce of attention for him.

"Hah?!" Hellion released a big humph. "How dare you? I even begged the higher ups to let me have this because I am very excited to see you fall from your position!" His face wasn't pleased at all.

Neal just nodded. "Yeah, whatever. You should just waste your time with your playthings." He was talking about Hellion's companion. Because unlike him, this man was a real player. It's not only the blood he wanted but also their lust.

He got lucky that he has an attractive face and is strong.

"I am hurt!" Hellion suddenly blurted out, clenching his chest. "After all the efforts I've done for you?" he snarled. "And here I thought that if I caught you lying, you'll going to end in my arms tonight,"

Neal backed away. "Don't you dare touch me with those filthy hands of yours. You perverted bastard!" He rolled his eyes.

Neal knew that his appearance is different from what they describe as handsome. Because he has a small and pretty face like a girl. And this is the reason why Hellion was still trying to win him over.

The shining effects immediately vanished around Hellion and his red eyes glinted in indifference.

"Well, I guess I don't have a choice," He smirked.

Before Neal could utter his second sentence, the table between them already flew to the door. Hellion dashed to him and his back hit the hard wall.

Neal gasped by that sudden force that his nose bled. He winced when he felt Hellion's hands around his neck. The tightness made him lose his strength.

"I don't really care if you like being dominated. I like it that way," Hellion's red eyes glowed as he looked Neal straight in the eyes.

Neal felt paralyzed while the man enjoyed seeking the truth within him. He really hates it when Hellion is using his ability on him because it's making him nauseous.

"Okay, I'm done."

Hellion let him go and caught him when he fell onto his chest. Neal grabbed the man's collar and cursed. "You fucker." he gasped between his breaths.

Wiping his nose, he pushed Hellion away and he slid down, catching his breath while feeling dizzy.

"Did I scare you? I'm sorry. I know you won't forgive me anyway, so let me do the honor."

Hellion lifted Neal into his arms and exited the interrogation room. Jayson guided them to another room where Neal can rest.

After that, Hellion waved his hands to them and said his goodbye. He went to the office of the higher ups and just stormed in.

The meeting that was held inside the room got cut when everyone looked at him.

The commander in chief flinched and hurriedly bowed his head. "Greetings, Mr Cassius!"

Everyone followed him and greeted the strongest member of the Vespion.

Hellion finds it amusing to see them give him respect. He waved his hands and pulled a chair as he ordered everyone to sit down.

"What are you guys talking about?" He put his crossed legs above the long table.

The commander in chief who's reporting in front answered. "We are discussing the death of Officer Ren Oliver that happened last night."

Hellion's eyebrows irked after seeing Neal's picture on the side of the screen with the label of suspect.

"Detective Neal Oliver didn't do it. I scanned his eyes already. Remove his photo before I blasted the whole room with you all," he ordered.

The one managing the projector trembled as he immediately clicked the mouse to remove the photo. When the screen became clear again, a smile formed on Hellion's face. "You're so obedient, commander in chief. Keep that up."

He stood up and gave them his final words. "Make sure to let the media know that accusing Detective Oliver was false news. You better do your jobs next time before jumping to conclusions. Do it while I still have a little patience."

He pulled his white suit and fixed the middle buttons. "I don't want any little mouths mentioning about this in front of my comrades. Do you understand?"

His loud voice and high tone gave chills to everyone. They bowed their heads quickly. "Yes, sir!!"

"Okay," Hellion clapped his hands and the seething aura around him vanished as he sweetly chuckled. "Sorry for disturbing your meeting. I just passed by to tell you that."

He walked back and opened the door. "I'll be on my way now. Please don't forget what I said, okay? Have a nice day everyone."

The commander in chief's jaw almost dropped from the tension that was released from his body. The cold temperature from the air conditioner went back and their sweats disappeared.

He cleared his throat and said. "Okay, everyone. Make sure to make Officer Ren Oliver's funeral a private one. Don't let anyone ruin Detective Neal's mourning. Do you understand?"

Everyone saluted. "Yes, sir!!"
