As Lin Yuer pores over the letter, a chill runs down her spine. The thought that someone from her past is behind this new wave of rebellion unsettles her. She is aware of the enemies she has made along the way, but none have ever been as elusive or cunning as this shadow organization.

Li Mei arrives shortly after, sensing the tension in the room. "Your Majesty, what is it?"

Lin Yuer hands her the letter. "It appears we have an enemy lurking in the shadows. A faction of nobles, led by someone I've crossed before. We must find out who they are and what they plan."

Li Mei reads the letter, her eyes narrowing. "Shall we begin an investigation?"

"Yes," Lin Yuer replies. "And keep this under wraps. We cannot afford to let this grow into another rebellion before we uncover who is behind it."
