Sarah struggled to move. As usual the leather straps were tight enough to keep her in her chair.

"Sarah, sweetheart, " the voice of the woman in front of her started off sweet then turned sinisterly cold, "why do you keep trying to run?"

Sarah looked her dead in the eyes. She knew the answer, but there was no way she gonna try to get through to this lady. She was one of 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮.

The slim, tall woman moved closer. "Sarah, darling, you do understand what happens when you do things like this, yes?"

Sarah kept her sharp gaze on the woman's eyes. Just a little bit longer, she thought.

Suddenly the woman's eyes grew blood red and she threw her hands on the table. Once upon a time, this would scare Sarah. "Do you think this is a joke?" the woman screamed.

Two more seconds, Sarah thought.

𝘊𝘭𝘪𝘤𝘬.

The door flew open and men filed in.

Sarah smiled. Here we go.

The door was her opening.

Whoosh... the men looked around frantically. Sarah was gone.

Smiling from ear to ear, Sarah was running so fast she could almost taste her freedom. She laughed a little.

She ran down the hallway, turned left, and through an even narrower hallway, finally coming to an astronomically long staircase.

Sarah looked down the staircase, putting her focus on the small piece of floor she could see.

Whoosh.

Just to make sure, Sarah looked back up the staircase. She smiled and ran through an exit door.

She enjoyed in the fresh air as she came quietly to a fence, knowing it would only take seconds for those men to come and grab her again.

She focused again on a patch on grass far away on the other side of the fence.

Whoosh.

This time she would, however, she would not look back.
