#### The Amazing Spider-Man Universe
Peter Parker furrowed his brows. While others in various comic book universes were stunned by the power of Compound V, Peter was contemplating a different question: who was behind the secret experiments on babies?
The name Osborn Corporation flashed in his mind almost immediately. In fact, it was the only organization he could think of that would conduct such experiments. Peter's father had worked at Osborn Corporation, collaborating with Dr. Connors on genetic modification projects. Dr. Connors had mentioned that Peter's father had achieved significant breakthroughs, with his genetically modified spiders being a groundbreaking success. However, for reasons unknown, Peter's father had vanished with all his research, causing Osborn's projects to come to a halt.
Could it be that Osborn Corporation had finally made progress again? But something didn't add up. Peter knew his father and Dr. Connors were working on cross-species genetics, aiming to merge animal DNA with human DNA to eliminate human deficiencies. No animal could emit radiation like the kind seen in the experiments. This was absurd.
Could Osborn Corporation have been conducting other secret genetic projects besides cross-species genetics? This seemed like a logical guess. Norman Osborn, the head of Osborn Corporation, had a terminal illness and hoped to cure himself through genetic engineering. It made sense that he would explore multiple avenues.
Peter decided to investigate Osborn Corporation further. While he didn't oppose genetic engineering—since he himself was a product of it—he could not condone experimenting on babies.
#### The Umbrella Academy Universe
On the moon, Luther, also known as Number One, was lost in thought as he repaired equipment in his spacesuit. He wasn't particularly concerned with Butcher and M.M.'s fight against Vought. Though he had been a superhero and trained at the Umbrella Academy with his siblings to tackle significant crises, those days were behind him. The siblings had all left the academy, except for Luther, who remained loyal to their father, even taking on a mission to the moon without complaint.
What truly disturbed Luther was the reminder of his own transformation. His current state was the result of a serum injected by his father. Watching the babies being injected with Compound V, Luther couldn't help but recall his own father, his siblings, and their past. Though they had all gone their separate ways, he wondered how they were doing now.
#### The Real World
In Jiangcheng, after scrolling through countless short videos, he came across another related to comic books:
"Sentinel Robots: Unstoppable Killing Machines Capable of Adapting to Any Opponent."
The video depicted a desolate, post-apocalyptic cityscape as transport planes silently flew overhead. As they reached their destination, the cargo doors opened, releasing a rain of Sentinel robots. Even through the screen, the scene was oppressively heavy.
Underground, in a secret base, a group of mutants was busy working. Suddenly, Warpath, carrying a barrel, sensed something and warned Blink, "They're here!"
Without hesitation, Blink opened a portal, transporting both of them to the next level of the base.
"It's time!"
"Sentinels!"
Blink's announcement sent everyone into high alert. Moments later, massive drill bits penetrated the ceiling, and giant, streamlined Sentinels dropped into the base, facing the mutants.
The battle erupted. Colossus transformed into his steel form, charging a Sentinel and knocking it down with a single punch. Firestar ignited, his entire body aflame, and launched fire blasts at another Sentinel, holding it at bay. Iceman unleashed waves of frost, encasing a Sentinel in ice. Blink continued to open portals, aiding her allies by transporting them around the battlefield, confusing the Sentinels.
The situation seemed optimistic at first. However, it was short-lived.
The Sentinel battling Colossus transformed into a metallic being, overpowering him and crushing his head. The one fighting Firestar adapted by covering itself in ice, neutralizing Firestar's flames and snapping his neck. The Sentinel facing Iceman turned into a fiery being, easily defeating him.
In mere moments, the Sentinels showcased their adaptability and sheer power, leaving the mutants in disarray and retreat.
