Chapter 2: The Einzbern castle

After the summoning ritual in the church, the Masters and their Servants made their way to the Einzbern Castle where Irisviel lived with her husband, Kiritsugu. The castle was an impressive structure, with towering walls and intricate stonework that spoke of centuries of history.

As they entered the castle, the Masters and Servants introduced themselves to each other and shared their wishes for the Holy Grail. Artoria, the King of Knights, wished to erase her own history to prevent her kingdom from suffering. Igris, the enigmatic knight of the Foreigner class, had no wish to speak of. Kiritsugu, the Magus Killer, wished for a world without suffering.

Irisviel, Kiritsugu's wife and the host of the Holy Grail War, wished for her husband's success in the war. After the introductions, Kiritsugu and Irisviel retired to their room to rest.

Igris, meanwhile, made his way to the roof of the castle to admire the stars. As he gazed up at the sky, Saber, the King of Knights' Servant, appeared behind him.

"May I sit next to you?" Saber asked.

Igris nodded in approval, and Saber took a seat beside him. They both looked up at the stars, admiring the beauty of the night sky.

"What is your view on the Masters and the war?" Saber asked.

Igris thought for a moment before answering. "Irisviel is a kind and caring wife to Kiritsugu," he said. "And Kiritsugu... he has the eye of a broken man. He shoulders many responsibilities and burdens himself with the weight of the world. he is very lucky to have such a family."

He then spoke of his view on humans and the root of conflicts. "Humans are always motivated by greed, power, dreams, ambition, and love," he said. "These things have always started conflicts among humans. The Holy Grail War is no different."

Saber listened quietly to Igris' words, taking in his perspective. They both continued to gaze up at the stars, lost in thought.

The scene changed as the sun began to rise. In the morning, both Igris and Saber joined their Masters for breakfast. Kiritsugu and Irisviel introduced the two heroic spirits to their daughter, Illya, and they all sat down to eat.

During the meal, Kiritsugu informed them that they would be boarding a plane to Fuyuki, Japan, in a week's time, where the Holy Grail War would take place. In three days before that, they would make preparations for the war.

The group discussed their plans for the upcoming battle, strategizing and preparing for the fight ahead. They all knew that the Holy Grail War would be a dangerous and deadly affair, but they were determined to emerge victorious.

As they finished their meal, the group dispersed, each returning to their own thoughts and plans for the future. The Holy Grail War was just beginning, and the fate of all involved hung in the balance.
