Hate when people keep saying that the author is being suppressed by China. The author doesn't just write demonic characters as an author you have to be able to have variety in writing styles. Ning Zhuo the main character in this novel is a righteous path member who is corrupt and even uses some demonic methods but overall, he likes to keep his reputation unlike Fang Yuan who towards the later part of the book was openly demonic. I think people got brain rotted by a character who can do what they want when they want how they want and because of that they can't stand this book but if you like strategy, quick witted thinking and scheming, then this is the book. This book is a better book than Reverend insanity in my opinion.

And what about this book? I would say its even more intricate and detailed than Reverend Insanity. The main character is in the Righteous path but is ruthless and slightly demonic. He isn't completely on or the other and that's his gimmick he uses the identity of the righteous path to obtain benefits unlike Fang Yuans direct nature. I like it because it shows restriction compared to Fang Yuan who seemingly always got what he wanted with enough time but Ning Zhuo here has to plan meticulously, scheme and use politicking to obtain benefits.

I love the balance whereby even if Star Constellation refined it into her own the costs to immortal essence would be higher making it more expensive to operate so its always exposed to heavens will.

Its probably his vital gu that he accidentally made in his earlier years then during immortal ascension he got the recipes needed to ascend it to rank 8 but he never needed it to be higher that's why it was found at rank 8 when at lang ya blessed land and then it got injured and demoted to rank 7 but I think Fang Yuan is the first to take it to rank 9.
