I find it really interesting and love the fact that Belle is super convincing, but not manipulative. She just has a lot of heart and can connect to people and creatures alike.

Oooo this is such an inventive idea for a prison!
Belle leaned forward and peered inside. The forest was dark enough, but inside the stump was even darker. Belle had to rely mostly on her magic to discern anything within. There was a wooden cot with a bedroll tied up on one end, a few barred windows thoughtfully set into the sides of the stump, and even what Belle assumed was a convenient shitbucket. The iron gate was set directly into the wood—it wouldn't open without magic. And it was a magic Belle recognized. - moremysteries6mthKommentiert
I really like this piece of world building!
The connection between Daivad and this Wolf was astonishing. Great Wolves, Belle knew, were incredibly intelligent, but they were even more so independent. Though the Great Cassiix Circus had worked with many nightbeasts and daybeasts over Belle's lifetime, they had only ever employed two Great Wolves because, as a general rule, Wolves' feelings regarding people ranged from indifference to hostility with little in between. The two that worked at the circus didn't even perform, they were simply security from outside threats, in return for finding the family they'd never been able to find in the wild. - moremysteries6mthKommentiertCh 7 7 - Daivad

It was a good thing he hadn't released Nyxabella because the moment the night air hit them she gasped and leaned forward, impatient having to wait for Ben and Lenna to climb out of the tunnel before she could.
