Do you know what a Gary stu even is? A Gary stu is a character archetype, a Gary stu has no visible flaws, and you just called him immature, which is a flaw, youre contradicting your own argument. Furthermore, a Gary stu character is the most widely used character archetype in wish fulfillment fics, meaning that everyone will like the mc or the MC will be portrayed as always being right even when wrong. If you think that this is the case, did you even read? Or is your reading comprehension that bad? Yes, sometimes the author puts the MC in a situation and portrays his actions as the correct one when it is debatable, however, the author also has little qualms about putting him in these sorts of situations where he is objectively wrong. Latest example being this right here. The adult part of him is illustrated by his highly competent behaviour, his major character flaw being low EQ, his motivation is to find people who will care for and remember him. Hardly one dimensional if I must say. Finally, how is his character nonsensical at all? He's not shown as right when wrong, there are no actions that seem to contradict common sense that he has taken in his 'right' actions. If you're going to use such a harsh tone to put down the author for writing a fic is good, yet you don't personally enjoy, then go write one yourself, write 200+ chapters of 2k words or more each. No need to announce your departure, no need to harshly scold the author. Really demonstrates how much more emotionally developed you are compared to this supposedly 'one-dimensional' mc huh?

He is much more mentally older than she is and yet he is unable to reign in his emotions... Just a small complaint from me though. Not everyone of can maintain an indifferent or objective view of things. Life is life, sometimes we get caught up in the moment and make mistakes, I don't know why you all expect the mc to be some Gary stu with no flaws whatsoever.
