Nicolas could not believe of elegance of the hall; the floor polished to a mirror's shine, the walls held beautiful paintings. Nicolas had been an art lover all his life. He couldn't help himself, he moved along the right wall looking at all the impressive paintings, Mr. Ginn clearly had a wide range of tastes when it came to art. On this wall was everything from Impressionism, Neo-Impressionism, Pointillism, Symbolism, and probably a few isms that Nicolas did not know. However, out of all the art hanging together on one wall Nicolas noticed one piece that did not seem to fit in. In the center of the wall an 8-by-10-inch picture mounted in a bronze frame; the picture was of a fimiliar face, an older face, yet still fimiliar. The picture was of a family sitting at the counter of Scott and Dale's Diner. In faded black and white, both Scott and Dale where leaning on the counter from the serving side. Everyone in the picture were all smiles. Scott and Dale looked much older than they should have; clearly, they had used some form of glamour to hide their lack of aging. Sitting on the customer side was Thomas and Suzie with their three kids, the picture looked like early to mid-1950. Nicolas could not believe his eyes. The caption under the photo was severely faded from the passing years, but it read Thomas Sr., Suzie, Thomas Jr., Agatha, and Benjie Fionn. Anniversary Dinner the year was smudged to the point of being unreadable.
