hmm, the idea is not without merit, but for me, my primary goal is to do a fic for each of the original great houses before anything else. so like Stark, Tully, Tyrell, Greyjoy, Martell, Lannister, Targaryen, Baratheon, and Arryn before trying my hand at smaller houses. if I were to do a fic like what you're suggesting, my opening candidates would be Dustin, Velaryon, and either Tarly or Dayne of High Hermitage

hard to say honestly. By the time I'd realized the timeline errors I had too much work backed up for release and I also had too much invested around the current time point. Nowadays I get a small A6 journal and map out q story before committing. keep audio logs as well
