While Leviathan was immobilized, Wilted cast Grim Reaper's level 90 spell, Reaper's Touch. The spell dealt 2500% soul damage to a target. It had a 30% chance of an instant-kill effect. This instant-kill effect was useless against Leviathan. Even so, the devil received a debuff, the same as any target who survived the instant kill. The debuff caused the target's stats and defenses to reduce by 10% for the remainder of the battle. This debuff effect was not stackable. It was a deadly skill. But when the ice claw hit Grace, no damage number appeared. She also didn't die. A layer of white light covered her body. This was Divine Knight's level 60 skill, Disciplinary Fortitude. It was a defensive buff skill. The skills rendered her immune to all magical and elemental damage. She was also immune to status effects and instant kill. While the buff was active, she couldn't be targeted by spells, and the effect of all her recovery spells was boosted. As she received damage, an orb of light materialized above her. This orb of light became larger every time she suffered damage. This orb of light came from Divine Knight's passive ability. Some natives have an innate ability to cast using melee weapon, like Arlcard did.
The High Demon Lord started casting a spell with one hand while its other hand held a fiery sword. It swung this sword. The blade of this sword broke mid-swing. Only pinnacle warlock & summoner gained those immunity. For the other pinnacle class, most of their summon are eternal & mythical grades. Eternal grade is mostly already immune, while mythical is highly resistant. As for pinnacle warlock and summoner, they gain a bonus where even their weak summon from the elite skills also gain immunity.
Among the twenty-four elite classes, Warlocks were the most vulnerable to devils. This was because the demonic creatures they summoned could easily be controlled by the devil. Badass' class, Hell Ruler, was not the case. It was a pinnacle class. All the creatures the Hell Ruler summoned were immune to mind control.
