You say it like it's Marvel, where every other person is a mutant, an alien, a god or all of them at once. The show was barely magical, everything else was middle ages fun. So who cares if he can see the future or not? It's poor writing when the situation is there is a bear in front of me, so I just outrun it. Your argument is weak , because it ignored the context.

This chapter was garbage. Very poorly written, lot of catelyn bashing. Poorly written, because Jon is supposedly knows a lot and mature af. And then we get this childish, stupid bickering, where Jon insults the Lady, even though technically she is right. (dog talks about her not respecting the northern ways, while actively mocking her religion...) In her religion (iirc) BEING bastard is sin. The whole bastard bs is because fucking Eddard can't just make it clear to his wife, that he isn't his child, and if anyone other than them knows, then probably their whole families die (risky tho). Idiot talks about intelligence and education, when he openly mocks a noble lady in front of his husband and his bannermen, while totally ignoring, that in this world's education bastards usually aren't much above commoners. So even if they don't like her, nobles wouldn't think what he is doing is right and he should know his place. With this whole whatever, he not only disrespected her, but also Eddard, who has been Jon's plot armour. Someone said that she started the whole shit with Lannisters, by kidnapping Tyrion, so she must be stupid. Not like Lannisters had anything with Bran falling, or the assassin... And shit like this happens, when Littlefinger is who you place your trust in. Not saying she is right or smart or anything, but flaming her like this makes him the same as her... nvm, worse. And maybe I read it wrong, but didn't he defend Rhaegar and Lyanna before? What is this compared to that fkfest? This whole chapter felt like faceslapping, while totally ignoring realism and that world's common sesnse.

none of the clan leaders I remember had enough power to just order anything their ppl and they just do it... elders bullshit, and Madara's only redeeming quality was that he was powerful af, I wouldn't call him leader material outside of war and think about it, if they win then what? they ruin the only 'backer' they had, and we all know that the uchiha wasn't invincible, like ever (except madara, but I suspect heavy alcohol consumption while the writing of lategame Madara happened). I mean they win the coup, they have the village. But the daimyoigajfogn whatever wouldn't support them, the other villages would smell blood and -1 big shinobi village. Without Madara or something like him, the coup would be suicide with extra steps. I don't know what Fugaku could have done, but even with mangekyou he was underwhelming leader.

Well, this was sadly a disappointment. The only good thing in this is the update stability. The characters doesn't feel like people, the system is weird. I like the fandom, and that was the only motivation to read, but even that wasn't enough.

I enjoyed reading it, liked the show as well, I didn't and wouldn't say, they are a masterpiece tho. :) I read it like a decade ago, so I can't remember much.
