I suppose its intended but his constant need of being held and comforted comes across more as him being a baby/child than someone with trauma/ptsd id expect the opposite and he would be averse to touch its weird because you swap between him needing to be held like a child and then him needing to be completely away from everyone if his ptsd stemmed from his parents then I'd assume the later would be way more common
