Before reading the story, I was reading the synopsis: "... the last surviving member of the Senju clan...". I thought, what time is this story set in? Is it AU? Than as I continued reading: "... Marry Tsunade...". Ok, this already make no sense form just the synopsis, not worth it.

isn't it much more likely that one or more of the apostles got hurt, lost some blood, and some vylkr vines took the divine energy from it? (or from one of the blessed warriors who just reached the village, if they also have divine blood within them)
