Just Alright

Bai Pu glanced at Xu Xiaoran immediately, signaling her to be mindful of the occasion, before lowering her voice to answer, "It was just alright."

Xu Xiaoran pursed her lips, holding back her laughter as she looked at Bai Pu's sparkling eyes and asked playfully, "Just alright? What do you mean?"

Bai Pu raised an eyebrow and pretended to be serious, saying, "It means it was passable, nothing special."

"Just passable?" Xu Xiaoran couldn't believe it. Although she hadn't seen Lu Zhaohe in person, based on her experience with men, she could tell from his photos alone that he was more than okay in terms of physical attributes.

Unless...

Xu Xiaoran was about to say something when the door to the private room suddenly clicked open, and a waiter entered to take their order.

After Xu Xiaoran quickly selected a few signature dishes from the menu, she handed it back to the waiter, who confirmed the order before leaving.

The door, however, was left slightly ajar.
