The Stars Part 1 of 2

Lucy POV

'Yawn.' I looked down at Naruto getting chewed out for pranking Iruka sensei. I sighed as I laid down my head mumbling "Men to troublesome for their own good."

Choji laughed at my wording as Shikamaru just grinned as he fell back asleep not caring about anyone or even the teachers lecture.

I yawned once again as I felt my eyes dropping and before I knew it I fell asleep.

---Shikamaru POV

I watched her discreetly as she fell asleep snoring so quietly that it sounds like a kitten's growl.

'Hehe'I laughed to myself as I watched her for a little longer and then decided some sleep will also do me good.

I sighed as I placed some paperwork back on the desk as I was about to pick up another a certain someone came crashing in yelling

"I WIN AGAIN MY YOUTHFUL RIVAL!!" with a Silver haired one eyed man behind him. Coughing to get their attention I started talking. "Good to see you again Gai..Kakashi" I nodded towards each of them "Gai how is Lucy?"

Gai smiles brightly with his white teeth gleaming "Yosh shes so Youthful she even beat me in Taijutsu. A youthful blossom growing so wild and fre-" Gai was cut off by Kakashi.

"Speak like a human." Gai sighs as he shook his head in disappointment knowing that his youthful Rival doesnt understand his words. 'At Least Lucy understands' he thought to himself happily. After a few moments he started speaking again.

"Shes a strong and determined Blossom. intelligent and determined too. Shes also a sensor she can sense even the slightest change of Chakra."

My eyes widen at this 'A sensor huh?' I mused 'We don't have many of them' I nodded once again as I dismissed them both.

I sighed as I looked out the window as I watched the sun set. "What would you do Minato?" I whispered thinking about the village, Naruto, Orochimaru and Lucy.

'Shes a strange and different child.' I thought as I watched the civilians and ninjas walk through the streets.

A knock sounded on the door I turned my head "Come in." I replied as I fully turned around to view Ibiki coming in.

"Anything?" I asked

He shook his head "Like she never existed til her fight." My eyes widen as I pinched the bridge of my nose.

"I'm to old for this shit."

Lucy was walking around the village kicking up the stones in her path heading towards her and Gai's apartment as her thoughts keep drifting back towards dinner a few moments ago with the Yamaka family.

---Flash Back----

"HEY LUCY WAIT" Yelled Ino as she ran up to the girl huffing as she stopped. "Lucy father wants to know if you would join us for dinner. He said he already asked the Caterpillar." Confusion is written on Ino's face as she continues " He said you will know what it means."

Lucy looked at the girl for a moment before nodding her head in acceptance. Ino smiles "Then let's go together." Ino snaked her arm around Lucy's as she pulled Lucy into a walk with to her home.

Soon they made it to the clans home. Ino walked in yelling "Were here." Earning an Okay and I'm in the kitchen from her mother. Ino turns towards Lucy "I will be right back." Lucy nods as she walked to the middle of the room. Inoichi walks in the room a few seconds after Ino left.

"Nice to see you again Lucy." He says as he held out a hand which she shooked as she said her own greeting "You too Inoichi."

He raises a brow as he laughs "Your wondering why I asked you over?" Lucy smiles as she shook her head and shrugged. "You will tell me sometime tonight so I'm in no hurry." He laughs harder at that as hs motioned her to sit, which she compiled.
