Chapter Twenty-One

CHAPTER TWENTY-ONE

I gasped in sheer and utter shock at my reflection; my scars were a lot less angry looking.. Jackson’s blood did this.. somehow it had affected the scars on my face.. they were more faded and much less noticeable.

There was no question about it, I really needed to see him.

It was finally time to tell him exactly how I feel about him and this time nothing was going to get in my way.

‘But what if he does not feel the same about me?’. I frowned deeply, worrying loudly about it.

It was then that I smelt Allie’s scent and then I felt her hand on my shoulder.

‘Jackson would be a fool to reject you, besides, he definitely felt something for you when he was here’. She added cheerfully.

I turned around and hugged her, taking her by surprise.

‘Thank you sister.. and I am sorry about yesterday’. I muttered uncomfortably.

Her eyes went wide but she shook her head and smiled at me.
