CHAPTER TWENTY-EIGHT

I told Avery about how my life went from the day she threw my siblings into my arms and then went on with her life.

My mother was adamant that Marrow threatened to have all of her family except me murdered.. I am not sure what to believe if I am honest.. but I would not put such things past him. He is a cunning bastard after all.

So she had Lawrence murdered by her Werewolf lover, she stated that my step-father was.. abusive. As far as my memories went.. never once had he hurt her physically.

I feel.. torn. I really do not know what to believe.

‘Those are a lot of sighs, Zo’. Jackson frowned and pulled me into his chest.

I stared at the white ceiling, avoiding his gaze completely.

We stayed in the spare room of The Pack’s Manor; Connor was disinterested, the minute that I refused to have a fight with Terrance, The Alpha. So he went back to The Council.

I was not sure what to do now.. it was obvious that I was in fact Marrow’s son, by blood only.
