Chapter 9- Red and Monetha

"Who are you?..... I know you aren't Ryu. What are you doing in Ryu's body? And what are you? ", Zeus said.

Red looked at him with a terrible face and said, " too many questions for a man who just woke up... can't believe it. shut the fuck up…you little brat… Do you wanna die so fast? Or leave this place alive? Just keep quiet,okay?".

Zeus was stunned and couldn't say anything. His movements were so fast that broke the vines and he fell to the ground. He got a hit and was lying on the ground.

A violet light with golden glittering was coming out from Ryu's body and all the vines were cut into pieces. Now Monetha has to put full concentration on him, because she knows that only he could put her down. She has a little sensation that this boy could know her very well, that means her origin.

Now Red could use Ryu's ability to a lesser extent and by using that power he was able to float in the air. To take over Ryu's body, Red has to defeat and kill him in the inner soul realm and that was not more work to him. When he was thinking about these things, Monetha's mind became restless.

"You're not that brat from before. You're a different person now.…And this Aura is familiar to me. Answer me who are you? ", Monetha said.

" You really wanna know?... I'm the one who gave you life", Red said. Red was smiling and moving casually in front of Monetha.

Zeus heard what Red said and he thought about how he could give life to her. "You bastard! I will kill you. The person who left me here must be dead by now", Monetha said and shot some needle- like thing at Red.

Red just looked at her and all the needles went back to her at a high speed from before. Because he's in Ryu's body he can use his telekinesis (Particle control) as his own.

"Wow, this kid has some extraordinary abilities", Red said. His face looked like a maniac's. He aim at one of Monetha's vines and crushed it instantly. He laughed.

Where Red was extremely powerful. His ability is to absorb energy. This energy could be in various forms like light eney, heat energy, high impact and also life energy. Because he could use the full extent of his Mantra of his living age, he can infuse his soul (life energy) in some object. So he did. He infuses his soul in that pendent and when Ryu touches that pendent, Red's soul transfers to Ryu's body leaving behind a black scar on Ryu's right hand palm.

"Wow, this energy !! This power is unbelievable. Now I feel like I can do anything I want. With my power and this kid's power, no one can stop me", Red said with an ominous laugh. On the side Zeus looks terrified. He saw the whole scenario.

Suddenly his aura changed into pitch black and middle changed into dark violet. Zeus sensed something evil in Ryu and he ran towards Vargas and started to shout at him to wake up. His leg was hurting so he couldn't run fast and he was punching Vargas's shield with both hands like a hopeless person. It was obvious that he was in fear.

Monetha seems very angry.

"You left me here to die about 1000 year ago and yet you came here to kill me again. But this time you will die, Master", Monetha said.

She knew that Red was powerful. So she gathered all her vines and limbs. Monetha became a very large carnivorous plant. A big flower grew at the top and a lot of vines started to regrow from everywhere on Monetha's body. Immense amount of life energy coming out from Monetha and a red light blinking from inside of Monetha. Red saw that light and smiled.

"At last I found that," Red said with a terrible laugh.

Flash back:

Red was running wildly in the forest. It was a stormy night. A bunch of goons were following for a long time. He had a bag on his back and he tried to keep it safe from them. Red covered his face and looked totally exhausted. His hands were shaking. He couldn't hold a tree-brunch for long. He was wearing a torn old black gown. There were some wounds on his body and some parts of his clothes were red with blood. He was continuously gasping all the time.

After running for a while,Red hid under a broken tree. The tree was struck by lightning before and blazing fire lightened up the whole area. He put Monetha out from the bag. Monetha looks like a small beautiful plant and she was in her dying condition. Red holds her in between his palm, he looked sad.

"I don't know how long I will live, but I put you here Monetha, you will be safe from them. They will never find you, " Red said to Monetha with tears in his eyes.

Monetha was a little carnivorous plant. A flower at the top and some vines grew on her body that she could control to catch prey. At the lower part of Monetha's body, it was fat and a red light could be seen.

Monetha used telepathy and wanted to say something to Red. But Red's mind was totally disbalanced, so she couldn't connect with him.

"Please, take me with you master. I will die here if you leave me alone. Please don't go.. Don't leave me behind master… master… . Masterrrrrrr, " Monetha tried to say.

Red planted her into the soil and covered with some leaves. Then he grabbed his bag and ran away. He never looked back at Monetha. Monetha didn't know the story and she thought her master abandoned her. After a week, Monetha was so hungry and she could die at any moment. Suddenly she saw a caterpillar climbing up on her body and going to eat her. She grabbed that insect and covered it with his vines and made a cocoon-like thing. Soon she absorbed all life energy.

"I won't die , I won't die master. Please come back here. Take me with you", Monetha repeated her words.
