CHAPTER 4- Newest assets -Ryu and Zeus

Both of them stood up while struggling. They were ready to fight Vargas. Vargas was surprised. He felt something that he had felt two weeks ago. Verglas can feel the immense amount of Mantra in them. But Ryu's Mantra felt more mature than Zeus. Their willpower was so strong that seeing this, he changed his mind.

"I was searching for days and but couldn't believe that I would find you here. You are the guy, the one I'm looking for. Your 'Mantra' that I felt two weeks ago. Say, kid, What is your name?" Vargas asked Ryu. He smiled. It's like he found a new thing that is more important than Zircon now.

"I'm Gyen Ryu", Ryu replied. Ryu wasn't expecting this kind of behavior from Vargas all of a sudden. He thought that man was about to kill them, but he suddenly changed.

"And you there? What's your name?" Vargas asked Zeus.Vargas looked at zeus. He was injured.

"I'm Zeus!" Zeus replied.

Ryu remembered he heard about Mantra many times before in his village from those old warriors. But he didn't get to know about it.

"Hey, what is Mantra?" Ryu asked Vargas. Ryu was so excited to learn about it. But his wish couldn't fullfil at that moment.

As he asked Vargas about 'Mantra', the villagers just entered the training hall. They saw ‌everything was broken down there. There was a lot of ice too.

"Just what happened here?" Gyen Ryō (the head of the village) asked. Gyen Ryo, a 65 year old man came there all of a sudden.

They saw Ryu and Zeus injured and thought that this man did this to them. Z-9 was covered with ice that no one could not see.

"Turn back, " someone asked Vargas.

As soon as Vargas turned back, the Villagers were ready to fight him. As they know him as "Ice hunter".

"What are you doing here, Vargas? Are you here for Zircon?" Lucas asked.

Lucias is one of the best fighters in Drag Village. He can make his body into steel and he also can turn something into steel so he could use it in a fight.

"No, no, you got totally wrong, Grandpa. He isn't the one who did this to us. He is the one who saved us. Although he wanted to steal Zircon from us, but now I think he changed his mind," Ryu said to his grandpa.

"I don't believe that. He is the leader of the second division of the alpha army." Ryo said to them. Ryo looked weak but he was not. Few of the villagers only knew how strong Ryo is. The great assassin clan,Gyen clan was known to all over the nation. But now they leave that work and they accepted harmony.

" No, old man, I haven't come here for Zirkon. If I really came here for Zircon, I would have left here long ago? I have come here for this kid and I don't know that he's your grandson." Vargas said while pointing his finger toward Ryu.

Everyone was shocked. They know Vargas is so strong that even if all the villagers use their full power, they couldn't defeat him except the village head. But the head of this village, Ryō, is old now.

"No, no, no need to fight. We all know you, Vargas. If you have come here to take Zirkon from us, you have already taken it. But I thought you had another reason," Ryō said.

Everyone just calmed down. The villagers took both ‌kids to the infirmary. They were badly injured. Their heroic actions are known to everyone, mostly to Vargas. He has seen something that no one else has done.

So Zirkon is safe now. They have increased their security.

Now all the villagers are going to the community hall to discuss the facts.

"Hey old man, Can I talk with you privately?" Vargas asked Ryō.

Then, on the way to the hospital, Ryō said," I know what you are talking about, Vargas. You want to know about Ryu, right?

"Yes! But how do you know?" Vargas replied.

"Two weeks ago, we felt some kind of powerful aura coming out of the ruins. I assume you felt it too, Vargas," Ryo said to him.

"Yes, I did. And the same thing I felt today at the training hall. But when I came to know that it came from your grandson, it did not surprise me at all," Vargas said.

"What do you want, Vargas?" Ryō said.

Vargas paused. Ryo is a well-known person among all. He thought he should not lie to him, so he did.

"I want to train Ryu. He has great potential. If we had a soldier just like Ryu. We can defeat them," Vargas said.

Ryo wasn't surprised by what Vargas told him. Although he wanted the same thing about Ryu. The village is too small to grow his potential here.

"Our goal may be the same, but we both have chosen different paths to fulfill it. With Ryu, it's up to him whatever he wants to do," Ryō replied.

They already reached the infirmary to see both of them.

Meanwhile, in the infirmary, Ryu was lying in the bed and thinking about something. He saw Zeus was asleep. He thought about how he became as powerful as Vargas.

Ryu and Zeus both were unaware of 'Mantra'. Because it is too tough to handle at such a tiny age. It is as handy in battle but as deadly if someone can't control it.

Both of them just entered the room. Vargas thought he would ask Ryu about training under him. So he is going to speak. But before Vargas asked him, Ryu talked to Vargas.

"Hey, Sir! Can I train under you? I want to be as powerful as you are now. I want to beat that kind of monster of my taking no help from others. Would you think that someday I could do it?", Ryu asked Vargas with a hopeful tone.

Vargas and Ryo were surprised. They weren't expecting that from Ryu. But Ryo was concerned about his over-excitement.

"Yes, you can! If you train hard," Ryu said.

"I wasn't expecting that from you, Ryu. I was going to ask the same thing.", Vargas said.

As Ryo said, Ryu was over-excited. Even though he was badly injured from the battle.

Ryu asked vargas," when and where do we start training?".

Vargas replied,"as soon as you two are recovered".
