Caught you

After Zack finished talking with the ladies about their plan later tonight, the ladies left in order to get ready tonight. Zack was still a bit in shock as he couldn't believe he has four dates now and that he has to take Pyrrha, Blake, and Yang on dates as well.

*Sigh* 'In my last life, Aerith and I didn't even get to first base while on here, I achieved it with four girls no less… but I won't make the same mistakes I made in my last life, this time I will make them happy.' Zack contemplated as he tightened his fists in determination.

"Now that I think about it, now there's three more of them, I should choose three more then," Zack thought out loud as he went to get ready and practiced a few more times for tonight.

As he was walking through the corridor, he came across three foreign students. He recognized two of them as they were the weird couple he met at Tukson's and it seems that they also recognized him as they widened their eyes at him.

"Hey, you guys must be one of the foreign students from the other kingdoms right? The real name's Zack by the way," Zack waved at them.

Mercury and Emerald flinched at him but before they could reply, their other companion answered for them.

"Haven actually, we were just touring around Beacon you see, the name's Cinder, this is Emerald, and this is Mercury," Cinder replied for them.

"Oh, okay, nice to meet you all… well I gotta go, hope you enjoy Beacon then, laters," Zack said as he walked away from then.

"Mmm, don't worry we will," Cinder replied in a malicious tone when she saw that Zack turn in a corner and heard he was still walking away.

"Phewww, my bad guys, I froze up when I saw him, now that I know what that guy could do, I'm a bit intimidated by him," Mercury said as he wiped small sweats on his forehead.

"Yeah, no kidding, his cat-like eyes are a little unnerving when he is looking at you, it's like he can see through lies or something," Emerald commented as she remembered when he was still in the Land of Darkness.

"Hmph, he's still just one man, once I get that, he won't matter to any of us, now let's go, we have only a limited time to get this done by tonight," Cinder dismisses their worries as she is confident in her power.

What they didn't know was that Zack didn't go away any further after turning to that corner. He listened to their conversation as he thought he might've just found some spies on Beacon. The thought of them hurting his team and friends made his image fluctuate to Sephiroth but quickly reigned in his temper as he ordered Fang to follow Cinder in her shadow.

Time soon went by and evening came.

Team ZPNR is all dressed up and ready for their surprise to everyone. Zack and Ren were wearing similar black suits but the only difference is that Zack has a greenish-blue tie while Ren has a maroon bow tie. Pyrrha is wearing a slim red dress and Nora has a simple pink dress. Both girls placed their arms on their boyfriends' arms as they started to walk towards the venue.

As they walked, they came across various couples particularly Neptune and Weiss, Sun and Velvet, and Jaune and Penny, all in suits and dresses. They joined them as they thought they all should go together.

The girls were huddled together, including Penny, as they talked about how they were asked out while walking behind the guys. They found it funny that out of all of them, Velvet and surprisingly Nora are the only ones that got asked out while most of them took the initiative.

The guys were congratulating each other as it seems that all of them got their dates. Jaune, Sun, and Neptune were in awe of Ren and especially Zack when they heard, the two of them are officially going out with their partners and Zack is even going out with three other girls and what's more incredible was that all of the four girls are fine with it.

Sun gave thumbs up to Zack while Jaune and Neptune got on their knees and proclaimed loudly, "MASTER!! TEACH US!!" which got everyone's attention.

At that, the rest just ignored the two and walked away like they didn't know those morons but they underestimated those two. Both Jaune and Neptune, still on their knees, followed Zack much to the dismay of everyone in the group.

They eventually got to the venue with Jaune and Neptune were needed to be asleep for a moment or two as Zack carried both of them like a sack of potatoes much to Weiss's chagrin.

The first they saw when they entered was Yang in a white dress, Ruby in her gothic red dress, and Blake with her black slim dress, they were welcoming everyone.

"Hey girls, you all look beautiful," Zack complimented them as they approached them.

"Thanks, Zack! But this dress is so uncomfortable!" Ruby replied while adjusting her dress.

Yang and Blake smiled at that as they both kissed him on the cheek.

All of them got comfortable as the music started and most of them danced with their respective dates. Most of the guys though noticed that Zack danced with four ladies and most of them were in awe when they realized one of the girls he was dancing with was their prof. Glynda Goodwitch.

Glynda was wearing a slim purple dress with her hair let down instead of her usual hairstyle. She was currently slowly dancing with Zack with her arms wrapped around his neck. They are both smiling and talking with each other so that others couldn't help believe that this was their infamous strict professor.

The rest of the faculty were also watching happily as they all thought that maybe with Glynda's new love interest, she will be less strict towards them. Ozpin was excitedly recording this on every camera he's got in the room for emergency purposes(blackmail) of course, while beside him was Gen.James Ironwood, a clean-cut guy with black hair and eyes. James was feeling a little bit complex as he still remembers his crush for her at that time but he is still happy for her as he thought maybe this will lighten her strict personality a bit.

After a few more dances, the lights dimmed down as suddenly a spotlight was directed at the stage with team ZPNR on it. Zack, without his outer coat and his long sleeves are rolled to his elbow, was smiling widely at everyone with a mic in front of his face while holding a guitar. Ren, without his coat as well, was in front of an organ, Nora, who has Ren's coat draped over her shoulders, was sitting by the drum set, and Pyrrha, who also has Zack's coat over her, was holding a bass guitar.

Everyone was surprised at that as they didn't expect that they would do something like this but they couldn't help being excited about what their music was going to be like.

"Good Evening to all!! We are team ZPNR! And we would like to sing a song for our party planners for this evening!" Zack said as he pointed towards team RWBY who was in the spotlight much to the embarrassment of Ruby.

"This is called Sugar, I hope you enjoy it!" Zack continued as he nodded at his team.

Ren started with a steady slow note then it suddenly picked up as Zack started to sing.

When I'm without you… I'm something weak… You got me begging, begging... I'm on my knees" Zack slowly sang out as he still remembers this song from his past life.

Need a little sweetness in my life… Your sugar… Yes, please...Won't you come and put it down on me?" Zack sang the chorus as he continued the song while everyone started to dance.

Everyone couldn't believe the song this guy can actually make as they lost themselves in their song. Those who were tired before were now dancing with everyone else. Team RWBY is happily dancing together as they enjoyed the team ZPNR's surprise.

As the song ended, everyone couldn't help but clap towards them, even including Ozpin and James.

Zack smiled widely at them as he signaled his team to get ready for the next one.

"Thank you very much, now this for my date tonight, a certain firecracker, hope you guys like it!" Zack said as Yang suddenly blushed at that.

"You with the sad eyes… Don't be discouraged, oh I realize… It's hard to take courage… In a world full of people… You can lose sight of it all… The darkness inside you… Can make you feel so small" Zack started to play solo first in his guitar as his team joined him slowly.

Zack started to sing at a very slow pace as he looked in Yang's direction. Most were surprised at that tempo but Zack made it work as everyone started to dance as well to its tune. They could easily imagine that a couple in love was dancing while doing random things and this brought smiles towards their faces as they enjoyed the song.

Zack and his team continued their performance until Zack sang three more songs about his dates, for Blake, it was 'Just the way you are', for Glynda, it was 'Perfect' while the crowd favorite was when he sang a duet with Pyrrha, it was 'Way back into Love' for her. Needless to say, his dates at that time was loving it that they gave him each a reward.

Eventually, the party ended with the rest of his dates going back to their dorm, well except for Pyrrha that is, as the girls huddled with each other first before permitting Pyrrha to return. They all made their way to their dorms as tomorrow, they have to take a mission at Mt.Glenn.

As Zack was about to sleep, he was notified by one of his minions that Fang caught Cinder. So he stood up again and faced his team as he explained that one of his minions might have captured a spy. This got their attention but before they could go with him, Zack turned them down as he said that they still have a long day ahead of them tomorrow so it was best they rest for now. They eventually relented as he reassured his team everything would be alright and exited the room.

Zack walked to the place where Fang was with a serious expression on his face. He quickly dialed in Glynda and Ozpin as they needed to know this.

Glynda, Ozpin, and James were pretty surprised by this as Ozpin informed James as well with this. They waited for Zack in Ozpin's office.

*knock* *knock*

"Come in," Ozpin said as he looked on curiously who would be her spy.

The doors opened as they saw Zack come in with his minion Fang, on its shoulder was a knocked out Cinder in her all-black outfit.

James at first flinched at the sight of this Grimm but he instantly deduced this was what Ozpin has been telling him about so stand down for now and let Zack explain.

"So, Zack, mind telling us what happened?" Ozpin asked.

"Hmm, why don't you ask him yourself," Zack said as he redirected their attention to Fang who brought down Cinder like a sack of potatoes in front of them.

"Um, Fang, what exactly happened?" Ozpin hesitantly asked.

/HMPH, I FOLLOWED MY LIEGE'S ORDER WHEN I SAW THAT THIS PEST WAS ATTACKING THE SECURITY TOWER/ Fang replied as it stood beside Zack.

"What! This young lady was actually who did that," James flinched in surprise when he learned about it as earlier there was a report that the tower was attacked by an unknown assailant but he/she suddenly disappeared.

"I see, do you know what was her objective then?" Glynda asked Fang.

/I OVERHEARD SOMETHING ABOUT PLANTING A VIRUS IN THE SYSTEM, MY LIEGE, PERMISSION TO TAKE DOWN HER ACCOMPLICES?/ Fang answered as he asked Zack for permission.

"Hmm, then do it, bring them here Fang, alive" Zack nodded at Fang as it bowed slightly then disappeared instantly.

Ozpin, Glynda, and James were surprised at the speed of his minion as all of them there are veteran huntsman and huntress but they couldn't follow Fang's movements at all.

They looked towards Zack who was tying Cinder to the chair.

"Zack, was Fang always that fast? And is it just me or Fang is smaller than he used to be and spoke clearly too," Glynda asked curiously at Zack.

"Ah, it turns out my Grand alpha minions could still evolve, who knew right, even I who sparred with Fang a few weeks ago could actually feel pressure from it," Zack answered Glynda.

That information actually shocked them all as it seems that a Grand could still be more powerful but they were curious as to why they haven't heard about this, especially Ozpin as he reincarnated a few times now but he still hasn't heard about this.

After a few more minutes, Fang returned with a knocked out Mercury and Emerald on its shoulders.

"Excuse me, Fang, can you tell us how you could evolve?" Ozpin asked suddenly as his curiosity got the better of him.

/HMM, DO YOU REALLY THINK YOU HUMANS ARE THE ONLY ONE WHO COULD EVOLVE, AS YOU HUMAN LEARNED HOW TO COMBAT GRIMMS WITH YOUR WEAPONS AND AURA, WE, WHO HAS PASSED THE GRAND ALPHA LEVEL, COULD DO MORE/ Fang answered with an excited grin on its face.

This response greatly alerted the three of them but before they could ask more Fang cut them off.

/WORRY NOT HUMANS, GRIMMS THAT ARE NOT WITH OUR LIEGE WILL MOST LIKELY NEVER ACHIEVED THIS/ Fang stated as it simultaneously dispelled their worries.

Zack nodded at Fang as it bowed slightly as it returned to his shadow.

"Now, why don't we wake up these troubled youths as I still have a mission tomorrow," Zack commented as he faced Cinder and her group. The rest nodded at him as James came forward with a bottle of water and sprayed them at their faces.

"Ugh… where am I?"

"Cinder…?"

"Ugh, my head…"

They looked around them curiously but as they noticed Ozpin and the rest, they widened their eyes as they knew their plan was just shot and their Master will be furious at them.
