The Blur

Must have been staring for far too long

Captivated by what's beyond my reach

Failed to see that there's something wrong

Failed to grasp what's within my reach

I saw but refused to see

I listened through this deafened sea

Holding on, though, it eludes me

Letting go is a catastrophe

Though in my head, the words echo strong

From my lips, they refuse to be set free

A blurred line between right and wrong

And I let that blur completely devour me
