CH 4: Outnumbered, But Outclassing P2

(A/N: Alright, to make it more interesting and to save on word count, Alistair will be explaining the effects of cards himself. That way, you'll be like the audience in the story too, instead of knowing everything from the get go.)

Alistair calling Zane :"I wanna play a game."

Zane :"It's 3 in the fucking morning."

Alistair :"And?"

Zane :"...Haaah, fine..."

Alistair :"Knock knock."

Zane :"Haaah, who's there?"

Alistair :"It's."

Zane :"It's who?"

Alistair :"It's time to fucking sleep."

Zane :"I will fight you."

"Whoa, look at that dragon!" Jade looked with interest :"That's one strong monster! But I wonder why he acted like that when sending that monster to the graveyard."

"I feel like we're going to find out soon, Jade." Sy gulped, creeped out by Alistair's insane face :"And I don't think we're going to like it much. I wonder why he summoned that kind of a beast in defense mode though."

PTSD, that's why. It was his personal policy to summon monsters with 2,500 or more Def points always in defense position, unless their ATK points were 3,000 or above.

The two lackeys frowned :"So you got a strong monster on the field, so what?! We'll just get rid of it in a jiffy!"

"Huh, yeah, keep dreaming!" Alistair scoffed :"After all, I'm still not done. I'll activate Branded Retribution's effect from my graveyard. By removing it from play, I can target one Branded spell or trap card in my graveyard and add it to my hand!

And I'll choose Branded Fusion, which I'll activate right away! You see, this fusion spell card is pretty busted. This card lets me summon a fusion monster that mentions Fallen of Albaz.

But not only can I use monsters in my hand and field as fusion materials, but also the monsters in my deck!"

"Wait, what?!" The lackeys exclaimed as he laughed :"So by fusing Fallen of Albaz and Blazing Cartesia, the Virtuous in my deck, I can fusion summon Albion the Branded Dragon in attack mode!!"

Deadly flames engulfed the field, before the mighty roar of a dragon shook the place as he stepped out of the fire. Spreading his crimson wings proudly, he roared again :"Graaar!!"

"A-another one?!" A lackey shouted, taking a step back :"H-how monsters is this guy going to bring out?!"

"Enough to traumatize your bitch ass!" Alistair grinned :"After all, I'm still not done!"

"W-what?! He still has more?!"

"What's with this guy?! How many more monsters is he going to summon?!"

"It's like he's playing every single card in his deck in a single turn!"

"It's not "like" I'm playing my entire deck! I —am— playing my entire deck!" Alistair laughed :"Unlike others, I don't need luck to get the cards that I need! I pull the cards that I need with the help of every card in my deck!

And guess what, I'm going to get help from Albion next! You see, when Albion the Branded Dragon is fusion summoned, I can fusion summon one Lv 8 or lower fusion monster again by banishing monsters from my hand, field or graveyard!"

"A-again?! He's fusion summoning again?!" Alexis's eyes widened :"Jeez is this guy obsessed with the fusion deck or something?! And I thought Zane liked to constantly fusion summon!"

"By banishing my Fallen of Albaz from my graveyard and my Keeper of Dragon Magic from my field, to free up some needed space for later, I fusion summon Lubellion the Searing Dragon in defense mode!"

With yet another burst of flames, a dragon clad in silver scales spread his wings arrogantly :"GRAAR!!"

"O-oh, god, what the hell is happening...?" The lackeys stepped back in fear as the three dragons stared down at them :"How are you supposed to deal with three of them?!"

"C-calm down, Raizou!" The glass lackey shouted, sweating bullets :"T-this is two against one! W-we'll figure something out!"

"Hahahaha, wishful thinking!" Alistair laughed, smiling sadistically :"I want to see if you'll be so optimistic after I activate Lubellion's effect to fusion summon again!"

"Again?! Seriously?!"

"Seriously, what's going on?! He only used a fusion spell once, but he's fusion summoning again and again without one now!

"Damn, makes me feel bad for those two poor bastards."

"When Lubellion the Searing Dragon is fusion summoned, by discarding one card from my hand, I can fusion summon one Lv 8 or lower fusion monster by returning its fusion materials from my field, graveyard or banished zone to my deck or extra deck!

So by discarding Guiding Quem, the Virtuous from my hand and returning Fallen of Albaz and one Blazing Cartesia, the Virtuous in my graveyard, I'll fusion summon this beast in attack mode! Say hello to the absolute unit himself, Albion the Sanctifire Dragon!!!"

As a holy light spread around the field, nearly extinguishing the fires of the other dragons, Alistair basked in the feeling of his hair flying around by the winds of his summoning as a majestic dragon with white scales, wings and several golden horns stepped out. His white hair dancing atop of his head, behind his white horns, as he roared mightily :"GRAAAR!!!"

[Albion the Sanctifire Dragon: Dragon/ Fusion/ Effect/ Light/ Lv 8/ 3,000 ATK/ 2,500 Def]

Shaking the place and nearly making Crowler pass out after seeing the beast that had given him the most humiliating defeat of his life.

"W-what the hell is that...?" The lackeys stared in fear. Neither of them had ever seen such a formidable field of monsters. It was the first turn of the duel, yet he had nearly filled his monster zones completely.

"Alright, I'm about to finish, so don't go passing out on me." Alistair smirked :"First, I'll activate the effect of The Bystial Lubellion in my graveyard. If I have a DARK dragon monster that's Lv 6 or more, I can tribute it to summon The Bystial Lubellion from my graveyard!

So by tributing Albion the Branded Dragon, I'll special summon The Bystial Lubellion in defense mode, and then I'll activate his effect! During my Main Phase, I can activate one Branded continuous spell or trap directly from my deck!

I'll be placing Branded Lost face-up on my field! As for its effect, it makes it so you can't stop me when I activate an effect that lets me fusion summon. Alright, I think I'm just about done.

Dusk Dragon is there, so is both normal and fusion Lubellion, along with Sanctifire, and Branded Dragon is on the graveyard. Alright, yeah, I'm done! I'll just be setting two cards face down, then enter my End Phase!"

"E-End Phase? D-don't you mean end your turn?" One of the lackey's gulped, but Alistair smiled :"Nah, that's for people like you. I have a bunch of moves in every phase. Such as activating the effect of my Albion the Branded Dragon in my graveyard!

You see, when Albion the Branded Dragon is sent to the graveyard this turn, he can allow me to set a Branded spell or trap card directly from my deck in the End Phase, so I'll be setting Branded in Red. And I'm done! I end my turn! Let's see what you're gonna do against all of THIS."

Crossing his arms, he smirked :'But well, with what I'm going to do with Sanctifire's effect, there won't —be— much to do.'

As he chuckled, he looked at his monsters in amazement. With how amazing the duels were when monsters could come to life like this, it was no wonder why Duel Monsters was the most famous sport in this world.

"(Grr.)" But suddenly, he heard multiple gentle growls in his head. He jolted, before his eyes widened when he saw his monsters staring back at him.

"No fucking way..." He whispered under his breath :'That's right, some cards in this world had duel spirits! No way... do my cards also...'

"Now that's one heck of a turn." Jade blinked :"It felt more of an entire duel though, to be honest." Syrus nodded :"Yeah, tell me about it. He summoned more monsters in a single turn than I do in an entire duel!"

"Whoa, that hottie's something else!" In another art of the classroom, Mindy, one of Alexis's golddigging thot friends that Alistair hated, exclaimed to her friends :"Look at the field he just made!"

"Guess he's really not like the other Slifer slackers." Jasmine wowed :"What do you think, Alexis?"

Alexis didn't take her eyes off of the game :"Do you even need to ask? Just look at the field! I've never seen so many combos in a single turn!"

Jasmine nodded :"Right?! He's definitely not going to stay in Slifer Red for long! Not like that bitch, Jade."

Alexis frowned at her, but didn't comment. It was common between girls to be jealous of a prettier girl's beauty, especially for someone like Jasmine's personality. But she was never into that type of drama, so she just tended to stay out of it. Especially when Jade was just a sweet and friendly girl.

[Turn 2: Taiyou]

"Hmph, just watch! I'll wipe out that field completely! Draw!" The glass lackey exclaimed before smirking :"Heh, let me show you some of my combos, you slacker! I summon Lord of D in attack mode! Then I-"

[Lord of D: Spellcaster/ Effect/ Dark/ Lv 4/ 1,200 ATK/ 1,100 Def]

"I activate Albion the Sanctifire Dragon's effect." But he was interrupted by Alistair, who had gotten out of his shock and had the most psychotically vile smile that creeped out everyone. It was to be expected. After all, he was going to pull off one of the most asshole-ish combos in the game. With holograms at that.

"You see, during my opponent's Main Phase, AKA you, I can choose two monsters in either graveyards, and special summon one of them to both of our fields. So I'll special summon Gimmick Puppet Nightmare to your field and Blazing Cartesia, the Virtues to my field!"

As Gimmick Puppet Nightmare appeared on his field, everybody nearly jumped out of their skins at the groan it let out.

"AHHH, WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?!"

"T-THAT'S SO GROSS AND SCARY!! EWW!!"

"W-WHAT KIND OF A DISGUSTING MONSTER IS THAT?!"

They had every right to be disgusted and scared. Gimmick Puppet monsters were famous for how disturbing they were, and Gimmick Puppet Nightmare was one of the most disturbing ones.

Even Alistair felt his skin crawl at the sight of the squirming monstrosity that constantly groaned like a zombie :'Yup, I'm not sleeping alone tonight.'

But out of everyone, Crowler was the one who had received the most emotional damage. Because he had been hit with that combo during the test, and knew that the "Nightmare" in its name wasn't because of how horrifying it was.

Clearing his throat and swallowing back the nausea, he continued :"A-anyway, I know it's freaky and all, but can we continue already? I'd rather not waste any more time here."

Gulping, the glasses lackey glared :"F-fine, it doesn't matter! In fact, I should thank you for giving me a free monster! And now, since I have Lord of D on the field, I'll activate Flute of Summoning Dragon to special summon two dragons from my hand!"

[Flute of Summoning Dragon: Normal Spell]

But even though he activated the spell, nothing happened. His smirk disappeared as he inserted the spell into the spell/trap slot again and again :"What's going on?! Why won't my spell activate?!"

"That would be cause of me." Alistair chuckled evilly :"Or specifically, because of the Gimmick Puppet Nightmare I gifted you so generously. You see, when Gimmick Puppet Nightmare is special summoned somebody's field, that player can't special summon any monsters besides Gimmick Puppet monsters for the rest of their turn! Hahahaha so how does getting Sanctifire Locked feel?! Hahahahahahaha!!"
