The Perverted Ahh Church - A2

A/N: Don't take this fanfic volume seriously; it's just a writing exercise for me and to help me. Butttttt it's also an Artiferia fanfic with some Yugioh elements on the side.

Hajime, who'd covered his eyes with both hands and kept them tightly shut, slowly realized that the people around him were muttering something and he timidly opened his eyes. He was struck dumb at the sight of his surroundings.

The first thing his eyes registered was a massive mural. The mural, which stretched ten meters long, depicted a faintly smiling figure, whose gender seemed indeterminable, wreathed in a halo, their blond hair flowing freely behind them. Behind them in the background were plains, lakes, and mountains. The figure had both arms spread wide as if trying to grab hold of all of it. It was a truly beautiful, awe-inspiring work of art. But for some reason, Hajime felt chills run down his spine as he gazed upon it, and he quickly averted his eyes.

As he examined the rest of his surroundings, he quickly realized that he was in a vast chamber. The entire room was constructed of a gleaming white stone that seemed smooth to the touch. Marble, possibly. Massive pillars with sculptures carved into them rose up to the towering domed ceiling. The room resembled some sort of grand cathedral.

Hajime and the others were standing atop a type of plinth located in the deepest recesses of the room. They were raised above their immediate surroundings. Hajime's classmates were all looking around dumbfounded, just like him. It looks like whatever happened had affected the entire class.

Hajime and the others stood atop a plinth in the deepest recesses of the room, raised above their surroundings. His classmates looked around dumbfounded, just like him. Whatever had happened seemed to have affected the entire class.

Indeed, they were not alone in the room.

Among his group, Hajime couldn't help but notice someone peculiar: a figure who stood out, seemingly a girl clad in a dark blue zip-up jacket with a high, wide collar. She sported slim-fit black pants that matched her black dress boots perfectly, with sunglasses perched atop her head, adding an air of mystery to her presence.

This person was not one of their classmates. Unlike the rest of the group in their standard school uniforms, this individual appeared to be a stranger, probably caught like them. Everyone noticed this but didn't say anything. They all thought this person was just another victim like them.

Here Dark Magician Girl slowly awakens, she opens her eyes and finds herself in a new location.

She was on the verge of yelling when she felt her own hand slap across her mouth, adding to her confusion. However, she managed to stay silent, not wanting to draw attention to herself.

[Shush.] Gojo's voice echoed in her mind, resonating deep within her soul.

Upon entering this world, information had been forced into Gojo's mind. There weren't many, but it did reveal the name of the world he was in—a name that he was familiar with from his previous world.

[H-honey, where are you?] Dark Magician Girl's panicky tone could be heard telepathically, her frantic eyes darting around the surroundings in search of her husband.

[I woke up at the same time as you did. I'm trying to process the information that is coming into my mind right now.] Gojo explained and then proceeded to get irritated by the information hitting his head.

'Nahhhh, what the fuck is this?' Gojo was bewildered [...I think I'm inside you, your body?]

This influx of information provided him with information that Dark Magician Girl is alive! Not only that his body is gone… or that his soul is inside her body. The only glimmer of understanding was that their roles seem to have been reversed.

Gojo immediately took action, but after some testing, it became even more clear: he could not control her body.

Although extremely frustrated at first but then amused the next second.

[Are we going to be okay? You aren't dead are you? Ahhh we shouldn't have pressed that button!] Dark Magician Girl's panic was slowly rising. Despite staying silent, she was squirming a little.

[There is no fucking way I'm dead. I'm adapting to this situation right now. But honey, I'm fine for now.] Gojo reassures her. Even in this circumstance, he could perceive everything Dark Magician Girl saw and heard, even with his eyes closed. This was an entirely new experience for him, and he didn't mind it one bit.

Currently, Gojo is now residing within Dark Magician Girl's body, with his own innate domain established within her. Their two souls are coexisting within this body, though it feels more like Dark Magician Girl is hosting her husband's soul, much as he did for her.

[Do you feel any changes to your body?] Gojo asked her carefully as he tried to forcefully take control of her body.

"Mmhmmm." Feeling calmer, she turns to look around, trying to assess the situation. Then, she notices a strand of her hair flowing. Or rather, its color changed!

It was no longer the golden blonde she was familiar with but what was once golden now gleams with white gold hue.

[My hair color changed! It looks so cool now.] She didn't even feel bothered by anything at all or felt any changes.

[k.] Gojo didn't want to hear that. Because he had a clear understanding of his situation, he recognized its similarity to scenarios like Sukuna and Yuji Itadori, or even Naruto and the Kyuubi dynamic, rather than the Yugi and the Pharaoh situation.

'But what other characteristics did she take from me, I wonder.'

[Can you switch control with me?] Gojo quickly asked to confirm some stuff.

[Hm? Yeah, okay!] Dark Magician Girl closed her eyes and attempted the familiar process, but nothing happened. In this case, Dark Magician Girl couldn't even exchange control with Gojo, nor could he do so with her.

[Ah—huh? It's not working?] The Dark Magician Girl's eyes grew wide, and her voice faltered with doubt.

[…This is bad isn't it?] She was starting to get tense as she realized her husband wasn't in control.

[No, no. This is fine. I think this is what the old god meant by dangerous. I'm just stuck in your body.] Gojo nonchalantly said not giving a damn anymore. He quickly gave up the idea of any possibility of swapping or control, seeing no way out of the situation, and he didn't bother even trying anymore.

There was one information about a way to get out of his situation that was put into his head, but he was hesitant to resort to that method.

Through the means of incarnation, a one time use. He decided to save his use of incarnation in an emergency. This ability effectively reverts Dark Magician Girl back to a duel spirit, allowing his soul to take over and transform her physical body. While incarnating, he can decide whether to maintain the female body, but he can always resume the transformation process once initiated.

While aware that incarnation will not wipe away her existence, Gojo feels bad about the possibility that he could be robbing her of her desire to live a human life.

'If it isn't the consequence of my own actions.' Gojo couldn't help but smile.

He isn't someone who regretted his actions but.

'Can't say I like my situation at all. But this is definitely new.' Gojo thought as he sat down on the floor, which felt surprisingly comfortable. 'I don't really want to backseat my own wife, but I don't mind watching from here,' he mused, as the surrounding area where he laid was the infinite void, and it had a weirdly cozy feel to it.

Gojo was very laid back in this situation. It is this world after all. A world he is familiar with. After all, he has read this work before.

~

Around thirty or so people were standing before the plinth Hajime and the others were on. It looked as if they were all praying, their hands crossed about their chests.

They were all clad in white robes decorated with gold embroidery. At their sides were something resembling a bishop's stave. The tips of their staves opened up into a fan shape, and instead of rings, several flat discs hung from the ends.

Eventually, one of the priests stepped forward. He was an old man in his seventies, dressed even more lavishly and perverted than his peers, with a richly decorated monk's cap that stood about thirty centimeters tall. Old was perhaps not the best word to describe him. If not for his deeply wrinkled face and aged eyes, one might think him a man in his early fifties.

His staff jingled as he walked, clear soothing notes reverberating throughout the halls all the while. Finally, he opened his mouth and said, "Welcome to Tortus, brave heroes. It is our pleasure to welcome you here. I am the pope of the Holy Church, Ishtar Langbard. It is an honor to make your acquaintances."

The old man, who called himself Ishtar, broke out into a 'good-natured smile'. He then led the still confused group of students into another room that was furnished with numerous chairs and long tables, saying it would be easier to speak calmly there.

The new room he'd guided the students to was just as lavishly built as the first. The exemplary craftsmanship of the furniture and the tapestries hanging on the walls was evident even to the students' untrained eyes. The layout of the room implied that it was some manner of banquet hall.

Dark Magician Girl curiously sat down at the roundtable with the group of random students.

Aiko Hatayama and Kouki's group of four all claimed seats at the head of their respective tables, and their followers all arranged themselves around them. Hajime ended up at the very end of his table.

[So, it really is that world, huh?] Gojo mumbled telepathically. [We've got the goofy, ahh perverted church and a pervert playing god.]

[Huuuuuh? You know what's going on?] Dark Magician Girl was mildly surprised by her husband's words. Based on his wording, she really hoped it wasn't the type of world she was imagining.

[I can see what you see and hear, you know? But I think I know what we are in for. Anyways, that guy right there. The guy that looks average right now and is being stared at by an obsessed girl. Yep, that one. Make sure to befriend him later, he's the key to our way back home,] Gojo pointed out as Dark Magician Girl was scanning the group of students.

[Ahh um, Okay. I will do that.] She scanned the room until she spotted the described individual by Gojo.

Hajime Nagumo felt stiff as he sensed someone staring at him. He turned to locate the source of the gaze. Now why was the random girl looking at him like that now? He then tried hard to ignore the gaze.

[As for what we are in for. Hear me out, this is a world that seems to be based on a story I have read before, ah make sure to never mention that to anyone. If you do, you will be labeled as crazy, heretic, a witch and a bitch by the people here. Okay?] Gojo explained.

Dark Magician Girl felt unease rising within her. Not only that, but she was slowly getting a headache. A world based on a story her husband read? It sounded out of the blue and made little sense to her. In fact her sense of justice was tingling, leaving her uncertain of what actions to take. If her husband was right about what he said earlier, even with his weird way of wording things, then this church might just be evil, and this god could be too.

This is all so unfamiliar. A world where card game duels aren't the center of attention. No shadow game, no duel disk, no millennium items, and no cards. A world that is deemed dangerous by God himself. Luckily her husband was unfazed and even possessed knowledge of this world.

[Heh, if you have no idea what to do, then just keep a low profile, we should be safe for the first month. Even if things get a little crazy, you'll be fine. After all, you're my special.]

[Mmhmm, thanks hubby…Wwaaait why does it feel like you are tired?]

[Oh, I'm feeling high right now. It's quite cozy being in my own domain while inside you. Must have been nice living inside me.] Gojo conveyed with a telepathic yawn.

[Anyways, just follow along the kids and hide most of your abilities for like…a month? We can cook up a real plan and decide what you want to do after that.] He added.

Unfortunately, Gojo couldn't manifest like Dark Magician Girl could like a duel spirit. He would have loved to mess around in this world. While Dark Magician Girl was accustomed to inhabiting someone's body, she hadn't anticipated his domain being already established within hers. This meant she could also access his inner world, recognizing his soul within. However, aside from that, she understood that as someone dwelling within another, he could also hear and see what she could do.

That old god might be annoying, setting Gojo and Dark Magician Girl in a situation like this, but he wasn't entirely wrong. This situation was undeniably interesting for Gojo. In his perspective, it felt like being inside a movie featuring your own fantasy character.

The moment everyone had finished seating themselves, a number of carts entered the room, pushed along by a retinue of maids. For the male students here they were bona-fide maids, the kind every man dreamed of meeting.

Even in such an incomprehensible situation, boys will be boys. Their insatiable curiosity and libido drove most of the boys mad as they gaze longingly at the beautiful maids. However, their admiration was met with icy glares from the classmates of girls, cold enough to freeze hell itself.

Hajime, too, was tempted to ogle the maid serving him a drink, but he felt a chilling stare pierce his back and decided to keep his gaze fixed straight ahead. After a moment, he risked a glance back, only to find Kaori beaming happily at him. He decided to ignore the strange sensation and kept on.

After everyone had finished their refreshments, Ishtar began speaking. "Now, I'm sure you're all confused by your current circumstances. I'll explain everything from the start. All I ask is that you listen to me until the end."

Ishtar's explanation was easy to understand and it was incredibly simplistic and far-fetched, almost as if it had been lifted straight from the pages of a generic fantasy novel.

In this world, three races inhabit different regions: humans in the northern half of the continent, demons in the south, and demi-humans in the far east forest.

Humans and demons have a kill-on-sight relationship and have engaged in a century-long war. Despite a current stalemate lasting decade, recent demon activity and sightings of demons taming monsters suggest a shift in the balance. Both humans and demons discriminated against the demi-humans, viewing themselves as far superior due to the demi-humans' lack of mana. This was the first and second racism they got into this world.

Monsters that were thought to be wild animals that had changed magically after getting mana put into them. The humans here had yet to fully understand the biology of monsters in this world, so they weren't quite sure. But they were very powerful and even capable of using magic, which made them an extremely dangerous threat.

Until that moment, few individuals had been able to tame such ferocious creatures. Even those who could only handle one or two at a time. However, circumstances had changed. Which meant that the only advantage the humans had over the demons, numbers, had been eliminated. As such, humans of this world faced an unprecedented crisis that threatened the existence of their very race.

***

[I really don't want to believe it, from what I'm seeing and what I'm hearing.] Gojo wasn't particularly surprised after hearing Ishtar's explanation.

On top of that Gojo can feel it, a weird stupid gaze could be felt from somewhere above watching everyone here. What could be felt could only be described as a transcendent being spying over them. However it couldn't see Gojo inside Dark Magician Girl.

Now that Gojo and his wife found himself are in this new reality, he had to factor in the power level of this world and carefully gauge the level of threat it posed.

[Tell me what you know!] Dark Magician Girl curiously asked telepathically. As she continued munching on some delicious snacks with a group of random students.

[Basically what I'm about to tell you is that this shitty god wasn't satisfied with manipulating and molesting kids he made in his own world so he and his gang decided to kidnap a bunch of new kids from a different world to see if it can satisfy his fetishes. That's the reality of this current situation.] Gojo's sarcasm drips with a sense of humor, as he makes light of the absurdity of the situation.

[....] Dark Magician Girl couldn't believe what she was hearing as she stopped eating and then coldly stared at some of the priests around.

[From what I can recall this perverted freak Ehit created the demons, demi-humans, and human race of this world, or at least I think so. Had a sick fetish for war, manipulating them to go to war against each other for who knows how long. He's probably jacking off from the idea of new things to see from this upcoming batch of kids in the war.] he added more.

Ishtar then went on to talk more about the tragedy that was looming over humanity, stressing how bad things were about to get. He keenly observed Kouki's response, drawing from his experience in identifying important figures and how to effectively communicate with them.

After all, it was obvious that Ishtar had seen right through Kouki's personality. He had realized who among their group held the most influence. But, this was noticed by Gojo, Dark Magician Girl and Hajime.

Dark Magician Girl took a deep breath to calm the rising anger within her. As a symbol of justice, she felt an overwhelming urge to confront this god and destroy the church. However, considering her husband's advice to play it safe earlier, she knew this meant that her opponents were that far stronger than her. An evil god creating races to pit against each other just for his pleasure? This was a new level of evil, surpassing even Zorc and Dartz combined (they had an ambition at least).

Dark Magician Girl couldn't help but feel disgusted as she listened to everything Ishtar said, though she didn't show it outwardly.

There is a reason Dark Magician Girl believed everything Gojo said was because she had complete faith and trust in him. Their relationship had grown so deep that the idea of living apart was inconceivable. After all, Gojo had saved the world of GX once before. Dark Magician Girl believed he could do it again. Right?

Although Gojo had some weird quirks and would complain about everything or anything every day, she knew what to do to make him shut up, and she loved doing it anytime of the day.

"You can't possibly be serious! You're telling these children to go fight in a war!? That's absolutely unacceptable! As a teacher, I cannot allow it! Send us back right this instant! These kids all have families back home who must be worried sick! You can't just kidnap them like this!" Each of her words dripped with rather extreme anger.

Dark Magician Girl's eyes sparkled as she watched this person defending her students. She felt a surge of excitement and pride, silently cheering for her as she spoke out passionately.

Aiko, the mid twenties social studies teacher, was very popular with the kids. She stood only 140 centimeters tall, with a baby face and her hair kept in a neat bob cut. She literally looks like a kid, along with her childlike appearance, and her tendency to run around doing everything she could for the sake of her students, though most of her efforts were for naught, had endeared her to many.

"I understand your feelings, however... I am unable to return you to your world at present." Ishtar dropped the bomb.

Upon the revelation when they found out they can't be returned back to their world.

Silence filled the room. The oppressive atmosphere was felt by everyone present. They all stared at Ishtar blankly, unable to properly process what he had just said.

"Wh-What do you mean... you're unable!? If you called us here, you should be able to send us back, shouldn't you!?" Aiko-sensei screamed loudly.

"As I stated earlier, it is Lord Ehit who summoned you here. The only reason we were in that room at all was to greet you heroes, and to offer up our prayers to Lord Ehit. We humans do not possess the power to interfere with other worlds, so whether or not you can return also depends on His will."

[Man, his fanatical dick sucking level must be at its peak. Sure, knows how to shove his god to non-believers. Must be how he climbed the ladder of hierarchy in religion.] Gojo snorted.

[Hubby, stop it,] Dark Magician Girl almost spat out a laugh, covering her mouth. His jokes were calming her down.

Although they are in a serious situation, Dark Magician Girl feels calmer knowing her hubby is going to be with her. After all, together they can take on anything.

Kouki stood up amidst the hysterical group of students and slammed his fist down onto the table with a bang. This had managed to get the attention of most of the kids. Once he had confirmed that everyone's eyes were on him, Kouki began speaking.

"Everyone, there's no point in complaining to Ishtar. There's nothing he can do about it now. And… And I, at least, have decided to stand and fight. These people are about to be annihilated. Knowing that, how can I possibly leave them to such a tragic fate? And besides, if we've been summoned here to save humanity, it's possible we'll be allowed to go back once we've saved them... Well, Ishtar-san? Do you think that's possible?"

"It is as you say. Lord Ehit is not so unkind that he would ignore a request from his chosen heroes."

"And we've all gained some amazing powers, right? Ever since I arrived here, it's felt like I've somehow grown way stronger."

"Yes, that is correct. It would be safe to assume that each of you have the equivalent strength of anywhere from a few to few dozen regular men."

"Alright, then we should be fine. I'm going to fight. If we save everyone, then we can go home. So just watch! I'm going to save everyone, including us!" Kouki clenches his fists tightly as he proclaims his noble intentions, flashing an almost sickeningly dazzling smile at the end.

Students who were despairing mere moments ago began to regain their sense of composure. They all looked at Kouki with wonder, as if they were staring at hope itself. Most of the female students had adoration mixed into their gaze as well.

The usual group of friends all chimed in their support for Kouki. Swept along by the flow, the rest of the students naturally all agreed to fight as well.

[Is this guy for real?] Dark Magician Girl was speechless from that statement.

[Yep.]

Dark Magician Girl is the only one here who had personal experience with wars. Although different from most world standards, it was nonetheless war. She hated war with all her guts, but here she was, listening to a normal human, with no experience, proudly declaring and asking others of similar people to go join the war with him. Moreover these people seemed convinced that the church or this Ehit would send them back.

[The military would surely love to recruit this guy as a spokesman,] Gojo slapped his face from cringe.

Aiko-sensei was in tears as she ran between her students, begging them to stop and reconsider. However, she was ultimately powerless, completely unable to keep Kouki's charisma from infecting the rest of the class. In the end, everyone agreed to help fight in the world's war. To them, this was akin to a fantasy world, something they must have once dreamed about.

However, most students here had no idea what war was really like, nor did they even want to imagine it. In a sense, they might have just been trying to escape from reality to preserve their own sanity.

"Nooooooooooo!" Aiko screams with frustration. 'Are you guys crazy, this is a war we are talking about! What will happen if you guys die huh!? What am I going to say to your parents when we get back? Ever thought about that?' she screams inwardly.

Aiko's scream of frustration was ignored.

[Man, that pervert god sure knows what he is doing, what better than picking a group of immature adolescent kids from another world for his sick war. If I was here, I would have smacked every one of these kids who wanted to participate in it with a black flash backhand to smack some sense into them.] Gojo mused as he watched the scene, observing Kouki preach and gaining the support of the entire class.

[Honey… aren't you a kid too?] Dark Magician girl pointed out.

[Well if that is the case. Then aren't you married to one? Does that make you a shotacon?]

[I'm 18!]

[Yeah, keep telling yourself that.]

[You. Are. Not. Sleeping. Tonight.]

[...]

Yes, by heart and mind you might be 18, but in fact, you are over a millennium years old. Though Gojo would never dare say that.

[Should I step in? I don't like this situation at all.] Dark Magician Girl asked as she watched Kouki smile warmly at everyone seeing how he completed his goal.

[Don't bother, that Cookie (Kouki) guy is stupidly stubborn about his own ideal of justice. He doesn't even realize he is being manipulated by the perverted church.] Gojo advised.

[I can't stand doing nothing you know—]

[In my opinion, not doing anything and going with the flow is the right move. The manipulated dumbasses will ensure your words get disregarded, and the church will paint you as the enemy of humanity if you do anything they don't like. For now, the church is focused on empowering the 'heroes', now that they're going to war for them, and they are also willing to lend out 'FREE' stuff.] He cut her off and highlighted the word free for some weird reason.

There wasn't anything wrong with Gojo's statement but she doesn't like the overall atmosphere of the room. It feels like it's planned.

"You there, what about you? You seemed to be caught like us? What do you say about joining in and helping humanity?" Kouki turned to face the unknown person who seemed out of the ordinary with a smile that seemed warm.

The people here wouldn't know who she is. Nor could she call herself Black Magician Girl or Dark Magician Girl. As a married woman, she could use the name Gojo. But as for her first name, she pondered.

This caught the attention of everyone in the room since this unknown person didn't make a move, or made an effort to join in the conversation. Dark Magician Girl then got up and revealed herself, taking off the sunglasses and letting her face be seen.

"Since everyone here seems to know each other, I will introduce myself. I'm Anam Gojo. [Mana backwards]. But I want everyone to call me Anam," Dark Magician Girl announced. She would usually then give her signature pose as she would do when summoned, but here she posed with a double Peace sign with both her hands and a wink.

It's a built-in habit that she must pose when she finds herself in the spotlight.

A/N: Duel spirits habit. Ya get me?

A/N: Mana was her previous master. She is using her name backwards as a memory of respect for previous master.

The group of students were all momentarily stunned by the beautiful girl in front of them, perhaps the girl of their dreams.

Then, she made a thinking gesture, as if contemplating something, and then snapped her fingers with a radiant smile on her face. "Mmhmm! I will join!"

What a weird act, but it was something only Dark Magician Girl could pull off. She had that childish mindset of acting cutesy and then showing off (the latter being Gojo's influence). This naturally made a good impression on all the boys and a positive impression on the girls. However, one person didn't take it to heart, or rather, disliked her. That person was Eri, who turned to look at Kouki and then Anam.

Kouki found himself drawn to her in a way he couldn't explain. Her playful behavior just now, combined with her confidence and charm, captivated him in a way that felt both new and unfamiliar. He had never fallen in love before.

As he watched her, Kouki couldn't help but feel a development of excitement in his chest, his heart was beating fast, a new sensation he hadn't experienced before. Could it be... that he was developing a crush on Anam? He pushed the thought aside.

But Kouki wasn't the only one with those thoughts. This new appearance of a youthful, energetic girl who is cutesy had left a similar impact on others, sparking a wave of excitement and fascination among the boys.

Then, right after, a crowd surrounded Anam, bombarding her with questions surprising her. But she skillfully avoided giving direct answers, deflecting with playful remarks and charming smiles.

Immediately following that, the girls pulled Anam away from the group of boys and scolded them for overwhelming her. The girls, feeling a twinge of jealousy seeing her effortlessly capturing the attention of all the boys.

It can't be helped when Dark Magician Girl was hiding her looks until she revealed herself. As of right now, she is stunning, radiating the aura of a perfect fantasy model. White-gold hair, blue eyes [Her original eye color is green]. She stood tall and appeared bustier than before. Perhaps it was the influence of Gojo's soul that made her appear even more alluring than before. As of this moment, she was undeniably the most beautiful girl in the room.

But the Dark Magician Girl was now looking at someone who was alone in his seat.

"Ahh! You there! What's your name?" Anam quickly broke away from the group of girls and dashed towards Hajime Nagumo. Anam thought this was one of the perfect opportunities to befriend Hajime. Since no one was crowding Hajime and he was alone, wasn't this the best opportunity to get to know him?

Unfortunately, her thought process was flawed here, she couldn't realize the problem she had just caused. Here, Hajime could feel the weight of death threats emanating from everyone's facial expressions. In fact all of the students here had questions swirling in their heads—why him? Hell, even Hajime was squirming with that thought internally.

"H—Hajime Nagumo…" Hajime was speechless and mentally tired of all of this stuff happening to him every time. He quickly answered and made it short, not wanting to continue the conversation.

"Mmhmm hmmm." Dark Magician Girl wasn't dense as she is also quick to notice, as she felt the glares coming from everyone at him and a little at her. "I'm going to call you Hajime. Okay?! Okay. Let us be friends? Okay? Okay. Bye~" She nodded to herself and then dashed around before he could say anything, definitely not taking no for an answer.

???

Bewildered from that quick talk. "I'm too tired for this shit," Hajime muttered, still feeling the weight of numerous death stares as he gave up trying to process what had just happened. Typically, he would react with a shy stutter or something similar, but today his response speed was too slow. Just for today, should he be glad he is actually putting in effort of not giving a fuck?

Seeing Anam walking away and getting to a corner, the crowd of kids shifted back their attention to Anam, and approached her hoping to build a positive impression and perhaps flirt a bit. Drawn to her beauty and celebrity-like aura, they attempted to try flirting with her. However, unlike her approach with Hajime, she simply laughed it off, politely indicating her lack of interest in all of the boys.

[Okay hubby, what the hell is this?] Dark Magician Girl was a bit visibly annoyed. She thought it was the best moment to befriend someone when they are alone. However, seeing how people discreetly scolded Hajime, followed by some students approaching her and attempting to dissuade her from talking or befriending him. It all felt weird to her.

The entire class seemed quite thirsty, particularly with Dark Magician Girl being considered a one-of-a-kind beauty. They were easily prone to jealousy at the sight of Hajime effortlessly befriending someone like her. Someone like him was considered a waste or useless in the class. So, when the class witnessed how she casually approached Hajime and attempted to get close to him, their jealousy wasn't something to be taken lightly. Quickly, they made Hajime the target of their bullying.

Gojo couldn't help but laugh after explaining this to his wife.

"Alright, alright, I believe that's enough. We should head to the palace below to get you all situated," Ishtar spoke, there was a large hint of satisfaction in his tone.

Ishtar was pleased to see his plan going his way, with Kouki successfully rallying the class and convincing them to participate in the war. Seeing at least half of the majority of the class agreeing to participate was satisfactory to him.

[Hubby this is not funny at all! It's bullying!] Dark Magician Girl pouted inwardly.

[Jokes aside, you should watch out not only for the church but for this group as well. There are a couple evil kids here.]

[...] Dark Magician Girl was speechless and didn't want to believe in what she heard. She can feel a headache coming in hard. [Tell me everything you know.]

While Dark Magician Girl listened to the story, she accompanied Hajime and the others as they followed Ishtar towards the temple's front gate. They were about to embark on their journey to the kingdom below.

After hearing the story as well as Gojo could explain and describe it. His narration is shit.

'This world is fucked up, god damn it!' Dark Magician Girl couldn't help but spat out a curse inwardly.
