Your Typical Game Like Reincarnation

My Fanfic . net story being posted here. ____ Naruto world AU, some people will be getting some buffs here and there. There will be changes to how certain things work. This is also an SI; the main focus is on chakra techniques and mastering several ninja arts. Yes, I will be op, this can turn into a fantasy power wank. We will just have to see. Will the plot stay the same? Kinda. I don’t know how to put it, but the flow might be similar to the original. Some content from the Naruto games will be added. There will be some major references to other anime or manga. Lastly, no harem. I don’t even know if there will be any romance, I have decided that I suck at writing that.

Your Stereotypical Training - 2

Thanks to the Kakugan, I was also a chakra sensor, being able to track chakra at the same distance as my visual prowess. It threw me off, being able to sense so much energy all around me, but I adapted and got used to it. At first, the ability was subtle, constantly fading in and out. Once, it even turned on when Naruto was eating ramen with me, almost making me vomit. Over time though, it stabilized and became a passive ability, and it became especially handy in avoiding Anbu detection along with my Kakugan's x-ray and zoom-in ability.

Chakra control became my main priority to train in, as I can't train in anything else without causing some noise, but it was slow. So, using my Kakugan while training up my control, I watched the Jonins and Anbu's for one specific jutsu.

The Shadow Clone jutsu. Being a rare and chakra intensive jutsu (not forbidden, the Multi-Shadow Clone is forbidden), not many ninjas can use it. But its effects and abilities are greatly desired, so they do attempt to learn it or teach it to those even barely capable enough to use it.

So, after several attempts, I now know the Shadow Clone jutsu. At level one I can make up to 5 clones each with at least 5% of my chakra. I should be able to make more, but I need to get better with the jutsu first. I only learned it this fast because I could see exactly how the Jonin molded their chakra through their network for this jutsu.

Through this, my training in chakra control, hand-to-hand combat, and dagger mastery went through the roof. I already mastered the leaf concentration technique and had moved on to tree walking, using a tree near the orphanage. I also trained in a very specific skill. By making my clones throw rocks at me as I dodge them blindfolded, and with my Kakugan inactive, I got a new skill called combat instinct. It wasn't easy, it a couple of weeks to even get the skill, and at level one, it has only a 1% chance of warning me of an oncoming attack.

I also practiced creating and using genjutsus with my Kakugan by casting them on my clones. Boy was that shit broken; I even manage to create genjutsus so sophisticated that it got recognized by the system as stand-alone techniques. My eyes were brand-spanking new and my genjutsu techniques can already rival Jonins. Though a mature Sharingan can probably cancel my genjutsus as they are equal in genjutsu prowess.

Here are some of the techniques that I created:

[Genjutsu: Chakra Ghost (C) Lv: 1

Make the target see a semi-hidden phantom figure as a form of distraction. These figures will be hidden either within the mist, within the foliage, or in other forms of cover. The figures disappear when attacked, only for a new one to appear elsewhere. The illusion is so realistic that the phantom even seems like it has its own chakra and chakra network. Works best in conjunction with: Hiding Mist Jutsu.]

[Genjutsu: Hidden Mist Jutsu (D) Lv: 1

Makes the target think you have used a unique version of Water Release: Hidden Mist Jutsu, a new version that cannot be blown away.]

[Genjutsu: Illusionary Clone (C) Lv: 1

Make the target see a hyper-realistic clone of yourself to confuse them. The clone moves based on what the opponent thinks of you and your abilities. Or the clone can move in a mirrored state.]

[Genjutsu: Cameleon's Color (B) Lv: 1

Your target sees you blend completely into the surroundings. They cannot perceive you with any of their senses, and even a chakra sensor or an undertrained byakugan or sharingan can't bypass this restriction. This can be countered out of sheer combat instinct.]

I like to think I made some pretty good engjutsus. I also had to learn some standard genjutsu stuff like genjutsu dispersion (genjutsu kai), genjutsu reversal, and a Sharingan special that I like to call genjutsu manipulation. We all know what the first one does, the second one reverses a genjutsu onto someone else, the third one is something only those with genjutsu Kekkai Genkai can do. Which is the manipulation of an already existing genjutsu.

Cool stuff, I know. All these abilities stack with the power of my Kakugan, so even if their levels are low, they can actually rival chunin to jonin tier in capabilities. I am practically a genjutsu master, and I only just started. Is this how Itachi felt when he unlocked the Mangekyo Sharingan and got to use the Tsukuyomi?

Speaking of the Tsukuyomi, I got something planned for that...

Anyways, the main reason I have been training this hard and learning/creating techniques was because of what I came upon when walking by the ninja academy's personal training grounds with Naruto, to scope out our "future competition" and try to get a "head start".

I saw this:

[Instance Dungeon: Acadamy's Training Ground - D Rank

Would you like to enter?

Yes/No]

It was floating right above the entrance. Also, I remember how I didn't even want to go outside until Naruto dragged me out. Looking at the blonde boy who was staring at the leaf on his forehead. I was teaching him the leaf concentration exercise. While the technique can help with chakra control, its main point was to teach concentration and impart focus. I let out a sigh.

"Hey, Naruto."

"Yeah? What's up?"

"You are a nice kid."

"What?! Why, are you saying that! And we are the same age idiot!" Naruto yells, but gets flushed at the complement. He doesn't get many of those after all. I may have said this before, but I'm no longer going to try to hide all my strength and cruise through the Naruto world. I'm going to try and achieve the best possible result. Even at the cost of messing up the timeline. Plus, I have a gamer system, going slow was never truly an option. Or it was an option for pussies.

[New jutsu created; Genjutsu: Shifting Dreams (B) Lv: 1

You implant a genjutsu on a target, one that has a delayed affect. Once the target is asleep, your genjutsu will affect their dreams, twisting them into a hyper-realistic paradise or nightmare of your design.]

Neat, sweet dreams Naruto. For mister, sandman has vanquished your nightmares for today.

9:00 at night was an hour past our curfew, and with the orphan perk, I really shouldn't be out here on my own. Lest I meet up with Danzo. Nevertheless, I need to go into that dungeon. So, using my sensory ability along with my Kakugan, I snuck near the academy training ground once more, approaching the floating holographic sign, and clicked yes.

Everything shimmered around me as the scenery changed. A new screen appears before me:

[You have entered an Instance Dungeon. While in this type of dungeon, the time flow is halted. Once your time in the dungeon is over, you will be returned without a second having passed.

While in this dungeon you have a set amount of time to complete it. The time you have is equal to the tier of the dungeon x 4 hours. A D-Rank dungeon is a tier-one dungeon.

To complete a dungeon and obtain its completion reward you must complete the boss room. The room's location can be generally identified by the pillar of red light above it, which acts as a beacon. If the room is not completed, and the time runs out you will be kicked from the dungeon. If you have completed the dungeon early, you may choose to stay for the remaining time available.

Warning if you die in the dungeon, you are dead. No exceptions. You can only enter an Instance Dungeons of a certain rank once a day.

You can take any item you find in this dungeon into your inventory to keep except for items within a safe zone. Once a safe zone has been found, you can activate a blue beacon to mark its location for later reruns.

Good luck!]

Well shit, this is way different than what I had expected. I look ahead and spot the red beacon of light in the distance; the boss room isn't that far off. As I move on, I finally come across my first enemy.

A Rattata, and I can see chakra inside it, though no network. It uses that chakra to use Tackle, I dodge, and uses Detect- I mean Observe. Not the time for poke-jokes.

[Rattata (Male) - Wild

Health: 100%

Nature: Naughty - Ability: Guts]

Interesting, but unwelcomed. Let me test something here, Genjutsu: Chameleon's Color. Sure enough, the aura around the Rattata shifted. It got stronger, so genjutsu can trigger the Guts ability, but it still has no idea where I am.

I walk up to it and slash its throat using the kitchen knife I stole. The rattata gets launched back in typical poke battle fashion and faints. However, instead of staying unconscious or dying, it then immediately dissipates into mist and leaves nothing behind.

So, pokemon have chakra and can use it to power their moves.

I assume I can make pokeballs or at least obtain them somehow. This means I am not allowed to exploit its unconscious state to capture it. Sucks to be me, I guess. I also didn't get a single drop from the victory, now let's find out if that is a pattern or an exception.

Speak of the devil and the devil shall appear. As I move forward, I come across an apricorn tree and groan.

"God fucking damn it."

Getting near it I could see several small green nubs but one big and full fruit. I kept looking around for other odd trees and manage to find some more, collecting a total of 10 green apricorns. X-Ray vision coming in clutch of course. I was also defeating some Pokémon along the way.

I came across a Venipede, several Caterpie, Weedle, a Starly, a couple of Purrloins, and a Bidoof. While not all of them dropped something, some of them dropped odd-looking coins called Dungeon Points. DP for short. I also noticed that most of the Pokémon I come across are all early route Pokémon's from various regions

Quite the selection, huh. In spite of my exploration, it took me a total of 2 hours and 30 minutes to find the safe zone. It was an empty modern rectangular building with an odd dull glow, and once I stepped inside, I saw several stations. Two that took my focus were an apricorn blender and a poke-ball forge. I then saw on the side a vending machine along with a healing station. There was also a bookshelf with some books.

I went their first on a hunch, and sure enough, I got my hands on a "How to Make Pokeballs 101 for Dummies!". I quickly read through it all, taking about 1 minute to do so (thank you boosted mind), and got to work making poke-balls. I broke 5 but managed to make 5 poke-balls, as if fate itself determined that amount. I then dropped by the healing station, which doesn't do shit to me. Then went to the vending machine, which healed me up thanks to some freshwater. I barely had enough to purchase it, a grand total of 20 units of questionable dungeon currency.

Though it's good to know that the drinks work on me, even if it was a bit of a waste to test that out.

With the 5 pokeballs in the good old inventory, I dashed towards the boss room, as I had 45 minutes left. Took me 15 minutes to get there, leaving 30 minutes left for me to fight the boss.

"Let's do this." I hype myself up as I enter the room. In the center, I see a normal-looking Venipede, but I wasn't stupid enough to believe it was actually normal. Observe, figuratively and... systemly?

[Venipede EX (Female) - Wild

Health: 100%

Nature: Impish - Ability: Poison Point, Speed Boost]

Wait, 2 abilities?! That's Illegal!

A/N:

Rushed some parts near the end a bit. Was getting tired.

Remember, this is also an AU, I control the timeline. Muah, ha, ha! For my first change, I delete Black Zetsu! At least as Kaguya's will. He is now Madara's will.
