Qin Ruan walked to the frightened white-faced Liu Ze. The boy huddled in his mother's arms with tear-filled eyes, looking pitiful.
"Your name is Liu Ze, isn't it?"
Liu Ze seemed terrified of Qin Ruan, and he whimpered as if to cry when she approached.
Madam Liu pinched her son's arm.
Liu Ze looked up at his mother's tightly pursed lips and her worried expression on her pallid face, his heart aching.
He hurriedly nodded at Qin Ruan: "Yes."
His voice was low and trembling.
Qin Ruan's eyes narrowed, and a warm and friendly smile appeared on her face. She reached out towards Liu Ze.
"Oh no… Mom has a puppet! The puppet is coming for me!!!"
"Ah!!!"
As soon as Qin Ruan's hand reached out, Liu Ze began to scream.
Luckily, the soundproofing in this neighborhood was good, otherwise, it would have aroused unsatisfactory comments from other neighbors.
